I would recommend this gazebo if you are looking for a covered porch and do not have the desire to pay thousands to have one built. It is great and does the job. Installation was thru amazon and performed by Team premier home solutions and took some work and a few days but the they got it installed successfully. I haven't had the opportunity to test it yet under bad weather but I am hoping that it holds out. Well rain occurred a few days later and water rain thru openings between the panel in the roof. We purchased two of them and put them up extend our porch. They took some work to put we had no problems. We opted to bolt them down and they held up great when we had a big storm with 70 miles per hour winds. The media could not be loaded. I don't know if this is a manufacturing mistake or a design mistake, but the steel roof cannot drain the water properly because the slats have been pressed with the wrong angle for the slope of the roof. See attached pictures and video clip showing a marble rolling in the wrong direction. The slope of the roof does not match the angle pressed into the roof slats and that causes the water to be retained instead of draining downward correctly. My husband and I assembled it by ourselves with no other help. We took our time, carefully read the directions and did a little creativity with installation. It falls over our breezeway windows so we attached ledger boards to secure it to. It is also bolted to the concrete patio. It went together perfectly without any difficulty. Oh, by the way, we are in our 70's! It sheds the rain, which is why we purchased it. It is extremely heavy so make sure you have an area cleared to have it delivered to and you can leave it there until you are ready to assemble it. ... show more

This is an excellent gazebo. It came in great condition and was easy to put together. Everything lined up and came with enough extra bolts and nuts with is always a plus. Sojag is a brand I would recommend to anyone. This Portland gazebo is the perfect addition to my deck and pool area. It was intelligently designed all the way down to the hooks for the curtains. Bravo. Only downside is that it could be a bit sturdier but mounting it to the house will fix much of the play it has. ... show more
