Easy to assemble. We used a plywood board under the mattress as slats are a joke. Nor sure about the long term durability as the materials are not great quality, but its exactly what my daughter wanted. And it does look pretty. Be forewarned the drawers under the bed are half the width of the bed and don't attach to anything; they just sit there. On the plus side you can use the rest of the under bed space for storage. ... show more

So, I give this 5 stars because i knew i wasnt buying and oak amish bed frame, but an affordable cute bed for my 8yo daughter. My daughter and I assembled it in like and hour or 2 and she loves it! The trundle pull out is handy and rolls nice, but i am sure if used often it would need resupported in some way. So if you need a cute bed with an easy way to keep sleep over friends off the floor, this is great! Measurements were spot on for our tiny wall we had to put it against. Instructions and labeling incorrect. Warped wood. Took 5 hours to put together for to incorrect instructions and labeling matching. Item said with trundle not knowing that their trundle was drawers. I bought 2 mattress thinking it was a pull out trundle bed. Clearly not specific on it's description.
