This seems to be a high quality product with no construction issues. Once assembled, there was no squeaking or flexing. Most of the assembly can be done easily by one person. A second pair of hands is helpful for the headboards and footboards. I put this together in around an hour. The first issue that we found was the instructions were in box 3 of 3. It seems intuitive that they would be in box 1, because those are the first pieces to assemble. Once we found the instructions, the pieces were arranged fairly well. The parts were labelled by number, and we found all of them without too much issue. When we started the assembly, the picture of the first action was hard to understand. I think a picture of the pieces instead of black and white drawing would be helpful. However, once we figured that out, it was smooth sailing to the end. The last important step is pounding in the wedges. They create the tension that prevents the wood from squeaking. You have to use a decent amount of force to get them flush. The bed now has a mattress on it and a few nights of sleep in. No squeaking, no flexing. Again, the only issue was that first step because the picture was unclear. It's a high quality product, especially for the price.

I’m really happy with this bed frame. The design is modern and looks great in my bedroom. It feels very sturdy and well-made, and I love that the slats provide strong support without needing a box spring. The hidden storage is a really nice feature and helps keep the room more organized. The built-in USB-A and USB-C ports are also very convenient for charging my phone at night. Assembly was surprisingly easy, and I really liked that no tools were required. Overall, a stylish, practical, and sturdy bed frame that I would definitely recommend!

We love this bed! We recently moved and gave our old adjustable bed to one of the movers. It was bulky and weighed a ton, so it was time to find a new one. My husband saw the Japanese joinery beds and as a woodworker, it appealed to him…so being the “research to death” type of person, I began to look at what is out there. I looked at Nectar which had a few styles that we liked. Thuma had a more polished look and different headboards that we liked. Both of these had mixed reviews and things we didn’t like about each of them. The cost of the Thuma was ridiculous with the reviews they had. I thought I’d check out Amazon and what they had to offer. I found several and settled on Softa. It only had 10 reviews but we liked what we saw and the price was a little more than the Nectar and a fraction of what Thuma was charging. With the ability to return it if we didn’t like it I ordered it. It came in about a week and was actually 2 days early. Set up was easy with two of us. This bed is rock solid and so comfortable. No squeaking, no moving, solid construction and fits together like a glove. If you are on the fence about a Japanese joinery style bed frame, don’t hesitate to order this, you won’t be disappointed!

The bed arrived with 2 of the wrong legs. Customer service was responsive and helpful. They refunded a small portion for the trouble. The parts came from Vietnam and took some time to arrive. Unfortunately the bed is made TERRIBLY. It came warped, mislabeled, screws and pegs didn’t line up with the holes, AND we found it was also missing 2 support parts that are very needed. We had to finagle many of the parts to fit and work. It’s not sturdy like the reviews claim and is cheaply made.

please note this bed will be delivered in 3 separate boxes. It was so easy to put together maybe 20 mins total. No hardware needed except to put the headboard on but it was so easy. It’s sturdy looks so nice in our space and was exactly what I was looking for! Quality 10/10

It's fault advertising. It's NOT "15 Min No-Tool Setup" at all! It took us almost 2 hours, there were definitely tools and screws, and the instructions were very confusing. One of the parts at the "joint" could not fit in, despite a lot of hammering, so we had to leave it empty. The bed looks OK at the end but is not as sturdy as it should be. And most of all it's not worth the high price! I bought another one from a different brand/shop, also with the "Japanese joinery" technology, but only at half the price, and they look quite the same!
