Bought this to clip on a desktop acrylic page holder, which I use for sheet music. It is suitably small and unobtrusive, turns on/off easily without acrobatics, and has a nice field of illumination. IOW, just what I needed. Would be perfect for a music stand, as long as you had a nearby USB connection. The other nice thing is it has USB-C for the light, USB-A for the other end, so you're not running around looking for adapters. Doesn't come with a real long USB cable, so be forewarned.
