My daughter is moving to a new apartment and needs a way to transport her small cat. Full grown cat but she’s on the small size. I thought the pink is perfect for a girl cat and you can put the cat in from the top or side. It’s light weight and has a removable pad on the bottom of the bag. Zippers work great and handles make it easy to carry. You can see from my 13 lbs yorkie standing next to it that it’s not huge. 2 kittens or one large cat would fit or a small cat and small kitten would be fine also. We just need the kennel to move across town or to the vet so this will work just fine. Top opens as does the side and the ends of the kennel and I love the short hand straps plus the longer shoulder strap! It’s also a really good price. Hard case carriers are so expensive and these work so much better for short trips! If I decide to get another small cat or something small and fluffy, I will definitely buy this carrier again. ... show more

Love that it opens from all sides!! My old carrier only opened from the top and I always felt terrible basically shoving my cat in while she tried to put all of her legs in different directions to avoid it. It's so so much easier to get her into this one through the side! To get both my cats used to it, we actually unzipped both sides and left in by the side of our couch, both cats will walk through it and even lay in it so it's much easier come vet time. It also holds my bigger cat (14.5 lbs) with no problem! Not flimsy at all and it doesn't bend and twist when you pick it up. Really really happy that my kitty can be more comfortable. ... show more

A lot of the soft carriers on Amazon are smaller than this one. We had one rather large cat whose legs we did not want to have to break to fit him in the carrier. This one was quite roomy for him. In fact, he jumped in it of his own volition. It's a nice shade of purple. It has lots of mesh windows and zippers. Even our most carrier adverse cat was fine with it. (Have you ever tried to cram a carrier adverse cat into a hard plastic carrier?) Nothing negative to say about it, though our wolverine did rip through it in about seconds, so for wild, aggressive critters, perhaps something a bit more substantial would be more approriate. ... show more
