Updated Review - I kept my original review below because it was the initial thing that happened. BUT things have changed, and there's no reason to leave a seller on blast when they've done a great job to make a situation right. I contacted the seller pretty immediately after determining that the ottoman couldn't be fixed because of the manufacturer defect. They are shipping out a replacement and not requiring me to send back the defective ottoman. I'm going to be donating that one to the ReStore as a "project" piece since there's probably someone out there with the tools and know how to fix it or use it in another way. So, now I do feel like I can can give some impressions of the functional product. I've given this five stars because of the responsiveness of the seller and the value for money. Two of these ottomans fit exactly as I was hoping beneath this window in our living room (which is a work in progress as you can probably tell). I wanted something low enough to function as a sort of bench seat and that could be converted to sleeping space when we have guests. These are perfect in those regards. Also, at the price point, these really can't be beat. They are pretty stiff in terms of both a sitting and sleeping area, but I haven't met a stowable bed yet that wasn't. Anticipating that, I got memory foam toppers for each and anticipate that working beautifully. I wasn't expecting much from those little pillows, but they're very nice bolsters and I was happy to be proven wrong. The skirts are very wrinkly when unpacked but are starting to hang look a little more tailored with time and gravity. Other have mentioned the legs not locking in place. This is a bit of an issue, but I think crafting a type of brace shouldn't be too hard with some type of window security tension rod or the like. I don't love the color (the yellow wasn't available in this style), but that's not a terribly big deal for me. All that to say, these are perfect for our needs, and I can't say enough about the customer service by the seller. Original Review - I ordered 3 of these ottomans to have room for guests in our “space optimized” home. So far, I’ve unboxed 2 of them. The first one that I unboxed was all fine and dandy until I went to test the adjustable headrest which would not reset from the highest adjusted setting. After some frustration and Googling and help from my husband, I decided to give it a rest and unbox another one. The second one worked exactly as expected. Because I’d ordered three (a little worried about the 3rd one), I decided to just go ahead and return the defective one after identifying what appears to be a manufacturing problem in the ratcheting mechanism. So, I went through the process to get the return organized. The seller leaves all return shipping in the hands of the buyer and also charges a 25% restocking fee. I could understand this if it was just a return because of not wanting something for whatever reason. As it is, I unboxed a $250 piece of junk, invested an hour of my life in determining that it was a $250 piece of junk and have to pay more money to get it out of my house. So far as I can tell, there is no warranty and a terrible policy by the seller (which is apparently located in Canada). ... show more

We have had these for a long time now. We originally bought for family when they come over, we slid two together and threw a pillow top sheet on them. The part where the pillow is in the picture, that bar that supports it when it is laid all the way down will collapse under you. This has happened many times with different people. Not large people, just there heads area will collapse. Although funny, we are younger and so is family but this could be a concern. We use it as a chair only in my teenage son's room, and the other one we purchased we have in the dogs area laid out as a dog bed. Definitely not what we were hoping for, but still ok quality for what we are using them for now ... show more

This chair bed came in one piece, which my 11-year-old great grandson unboxed, and opened up. He showed me how to work it. It’s a very attractive, velvety textured, royal blue chair. I wanted a sleepover bed for great-grandchildren. The seat/mattress is comfortably soft. It’s ideal for my needs, because the chair takes a relatively small amount of space, yet opens up into a chair which also transforms, into a soft and comfortable bed. ... show more

We bought this for my office bc sometimes I have to work late and need a place to crash between calls. I didn’t have high hopes for this, how comfortable could it really be? It is! It’s very comfy! Easy to put together, makes a great lounge chair and easy to set up for a nap. Great value!

The chair/ottoman combo setup is good. The fabric texture and design is great it has a nice feel. It comfortable to sit on and the cushions are nice. When it comes to the click clack of the head test something is horribly wrong (see picture provided). It arrived a little over a week early and after reading a few more reviews I tried to send it back. The company obviously knows about the defect and is selling the product anyway. There's a 79dollar fee to ship it back which is about the worth of the futon. I wish I could give a better review because it's comfortable and beautiful. ... show more
