When it arrived, I couldn't believe how small the box was to fit 5 cables. This device is very compact, would be great for travel - easy fits in a laptop bag and it comes with its power plug for a regular electrical outlet. It’s easy to setup with no software installation or configuration needed. I like the exterior of the switch that made of a metal, which can help with heat buildup (better than plastic) and makes it durable. My computer connected through this switch and seems like it works perfectly fine. So far, I have seen no connection issues. Certainly a good buy if you need to add an extra network ports. This switch works well, it’s affordable and dependable. I am satisfied and highly recommend this product!

This with all cat8 newly installed made a huge difference in ping and jitter. Everything runs quicker and more steady. I can reliably watch 4k video that previously would not play more than a few minutes. I had a 1Gb switch commercial net gear. And cat 5e cables. Side note, I have slow internet, not even close to Gigabit speeds, this still made a major improvement.

I rarely write reviews, but I don't like my time wasted and this is the second Sodola I have purchased. The first I could never get into the management console, no matter what. The second one, was easy to connect, loved all the features, BUT, when I powered it off, it lost all the customized settings, I mean, after configuring static ip's. vm's, etc... this thing lost all settings every time the power was turned off. I'm done with Sodola, total waste of time and in today's IT world, things should not have to be a nightmare to setup like the DOS days. I don't recommend this unit, spend a little more and get a unit that has history and years of performance.
