I love carbonated beverages. Im not big on soda but I LOVE a sparkling water with some lemon. Ive gotten creative and used store brand mio squirts to make it taste like orange soda and other things. It doesnt use any electricity witch actually surprised me. Its super easy to install and replace the carbonation canisters. Its not heavy either. Using it is so simple and it works wonderfully. The carbon canisters lasted me so long even though I use it daily. So happy we bought this, its worth every penny. Water fizz quality is great. Easy to use. The how-to setup videos on YouTube are great. Lever pull action is the best, easy to use. Build quality of unit cd be better. Lots of plastic parts that could break if you are heavy handed, or careless. Retro look, easy to calibrate amount of 3 -1 second pulls for medium fizz. 4-5 pulls (1 sec each) for strong fizz. As canister depletes, a 3 pull refill may become 5 pulls/presses. Canister refills are way too $$$, so I buy a 5lb CO2 tank from a beer craft supply place, and refill the 1 lb canisters for $4-5 each, not $15-33 each. If the CO2 canisters are $16 -33 each, you might as well buy canned drinks. ... show more

Bought this as a Christmas gift this last year. It went over really well. He really loved it :D It is charming. Very stylish and elegant feeling. It is simple to figure out and needs no setup. The pull down handle version has a better feel than the "push this button down" types. Also, the sound that comes out when you use it is soothing as well. If you're looking to buy this for yourself or as a gift I'd just say get it. It's easy to use :D And super sturdy. Just unbox and snap your Co2 in and voila! You're done :D If you're worried about counter space, it only has a small footprint (though it is a bit tall, but no more so than a coffee maker really). You don't even really need to stick it in your kitchen counter space, since it's analog power you can just put this in any room you wanted to really. Sidenote: If you're looking for re-fills just go through the SodaStream website, if you send your bottles off you get a better deal than just buying new Co2 containers. You can exchange your empties for new ones and pay only for the refill, which is pretty nice. ... show more

I absolutely love the carbonated drinks that the SodaStread makes, but I'm not so thrilled about how messy it is, and the fact that mine complely died 4.5 months after purchase. They say it is easy to use, and that's the truth. It can't get much easier than "pull this lever". And I absolutley love the endless flavor possibilities. Right now Red Gatorade with 4 pulls of bubbles is my go-to drink, consuming mutiiple 18 oz bottles evey day. But, we are going through more napkins than all get out. Even when running right, it still drips when done. But when running wrong, like it has been lately, its as sticky as lazy cousin Bud. Andrew Stanton famously said "Art is messy" and apparently it was the "Art" model SodaStream he was talking about. When one door closes... It turns out ours is so messy because it's broken inside. So, it gives us a chance to check out how good, or bad, SodaSteam's support it. I'll edit this in a week or so after I've tried to get it fixed under warranty. ... show more

Thanks to this sodastream, my habit of drinking water got so much better! Flat water makes me drinking as a chore and was very hard. Now I LOVE hydrating myself with bubble water. I've seen some reviewers say that the materials could be better and it's totally true, but I still give this product a 5 stars because I use this thing EVERY DAY. Both me and my wife love it, and the refill options where you take the empty can to a best-buy or target and only pay for the refill (basically 50% off) it's great! I do suggest keeping a spare so you always have one ready to go! ... show more
