Hubby and I like to drink sparkling water, but are concerned with the cost and environmental impact of buying so many, one-time use bottles from the grocery store, even though we always recycle them. We finally decided to try this SodaStream machine. So glad we did! Initial cost is seems high, but the resulting savings is worth it. And, we have fresh, sparkling water any time...we never run out! Easy to use, this SodaStream ART bundle comes with an instruction booklet, one 1-liter water bottle, and three cylinders. Set-up is simple, and no electricity is needed. The side-mounted pump lever is a huge improvement over the top pump button; as you can see in my photos, the device fits nicely on the countertop, beneath the cupboards. (FYI: The distance between my counter and the bottom front edge of the cupboard is exactly 17 inches.) Suggestions: 1. Purchase only SodaStream brand water bottles and CO2 cartridges for the best results. 2. Check out SodaStream's website (sodastream.com) for their recycle/trade-in program for the cartridges. Much, much less expensive way to purchase replacements. Good for the environment, too. It is durable. I really like that the carbonation cylinders are so easy to attach/mount. They do not have to be screwed in like in older models, it is very simple and feels safer to me. I like the lever to release the carbonation, it works well. This machine needs no electricity or batteries and is very easy to use. Comes in various colors. I was able to purchase a bundle at 40% off which is why I purchased this one. And last but not least, it carbonates very well. I prefer a lot of carbonation, but I only need to use the minimum suggested amount to reach the level I like. So far I've carbonated several, several bottles and my cylinder is still going. ... show more

SodaStream Art Value Bundle, 11 May 2024, sold by Amazon.com Services, Inc for $149.99. Looks good, works good. good value bundle especially when on sale. I actually saw it lower at around $137 shortly afterwards and today 21 June 2024 I see back up to 199.99. There is a lot of CO2 loss with this system, and having taken it apart, there really is no way to correct it, the design and materials (99% plastic) have to leak, less it go boom. IMHO the CO2 canister exchange program for $15 is a decent deal. However, I just didn't want to fool around with the canister exchange program. I love carbonated beverages. Im not big on soda but I LOVE a sparkling water with some lemon. Ive gotten creative and used store brand mio squirts to make it taste like orange soda and other things. It doesnt use any electricity witch actually surprised me. Its super easy to install and replace the carbonation canisters. Its not heavy either. Using it is so simple and it works wonderfully. The carbon canisters lasted me so long even though I use it daily. So happy we bought this, its worth every penny. I was buying club soda/seltzer water from the store and this has already saved us so much money and produced less waste with just one canister. Highly reccommend ... show more

Bought this as a Christmas gift this last year. It went over really well. He really loved it :D It is charming. Very stylish and elegant feeling. It is simple to figure out and needs no setup. The pull down handle version has a better feel than the "push this button down" types. Also, the sound that comes out when you use it is soothing as well. If you're looking to buy this for yourself or as a gift I'd just say get it. It's easy to use :D And super sturdy. Just unbox and snap your Co2 in and voila! You're done :D If you're worried about counter space, it only has a small footprint (though it is a bit tall, but no more so than a coffee maker really). You don't even really need to stick it in your kitchen counter space, since it's analog power you can just put this in any room you wanted to really. Sidenote: If you're looking for re-fills just go through the SodaStream website, if you send your bottles off you get a better deal than just buying new Co2 containers. You can exchange your empties for new ones and pay only for the refill, which is pretty nice. ... show more

I absolutely love the carbonated drinks that the SodaStread makes, but I'm not so thrilled about how messy it is, and the fact that mine complely died 4.5 months after purchase. They say it is easy to use, and that's the truth. It can't get much easier than "pull this lever". And I absolutley love the endless flavor possibilities. Right now Red Gatorade with 4 pulls of bubbles is my go-to drink, consuming mutiiple 18 oz bottles evey day. But, we are going through more napkins than all get out. Even when running right, it still drips when done. But when running wrong, like it has been lately, its as sticky as lazy cousin Bud. Andrew Stanton famously said "Art is messy" and apparently it was the "Art" model SodaStream he was talking about. When one door closes... It turns out ours is so messy because it's broken inside. So, it gives us a chance to check out how good, or bad, SodaSteam's support it. I'll edit this in a week or so after I've tried to get it fixed under warranty. ... show more
