I am so excited about this portable air conditioner! I live in Arizona and temperatures can reach over 120 degrees Fahrenheit here in the summer months. My family is very active in sports. My son plays club soccer and is on the club track/cross country teams. My family can end up sitting in the heat for many hours a day during these events and it can be intensely hot. It’s super easy to use, very lightweight and it can run for hours on one charge and is perfect for our family to use. We also all have allergies and sensitivity to the dry temps. This is the perfect size fan for my counter. There are three settings for the intensity of airflow. The first setting is strong enough to feel AT LEAST 5ft away, so it’s pretty powerful for such a tiny machine. It hasn’t gotten too warm where I live yet, but even without water it’s very cooling. This is so not what I expected it to be. The only way you feel any cool air is if you're a foot or less from it. The description made it seem like it would drop the temperature of a small room or car by several degrees. Not true. I feel like this was a complete waste of my money and I'd have been better off buying a regular fan at Walmart. This is a great air cooler which uses evaporative cooling in order to lower the temperature. I would recommend using room temperature water over water with ice cubes as the physics behind evaporative cooling indicates that there is only a minute difference between the two. The majority of the energy absorbed is during the state change phase from liquid to gas. The room is noticeably cooler after using this fan with water. This is not what I had hoped for. Put it next to the bed, I do have AC but get hot at night. It does blow cool air but you have to get very close to it to feel it. It does not change the temp of a room, just a decent breeze….

Fan lights are nice for a nightlight or helping light the room when waking up in the middle of the night. Fan works good and with ice and water it really does cool the area well. Buttons are sensor which make for easy turn on and off especially when trying to see in the dark.
