Really good versatile cutting board, the two sides allow for me to sterilize if I cut meet end easily wash when I’m cutting vegetables or need to use as temporary plate. The size is really good and could hold a lot, the handle seems sturdy. Color is beautiful and it doesn’t slide around bc if he grippers one be edge (silicone.) only thing I’ll say is that you will get cut marks on the meal side when cutting in it, so I wonder how I’ll look after many uses (Will update with pictures soon) ... show more

Steel is a metal that a magnet will stick to. ALUMINUM is a metal that will not attract a magnet. This cutting board is NOT Stainless Steel. The metal side does NOT attract a magnet. It is a thin layer of aluminum. Watch video reviews of someone's board that has been USED. Notice all of the dents from usage (pay no attention to the general scratches, knives will do that). I don't use the opposite side very much as it IS plastic. They call it "wheat straw" - and if you dig deeper, they mention "Wheat Straw PP" which is Polypropylene... or PLASTIC! (I was aware of the plastic when I ordered mine, but not the aluminum). Overall, the board is well made and works fine. I wash mine by hand - no dishwasher - and I have had no problem with water penetrating the board. I like the board. But the aluminum is cheap and flimsy. That is a whole lot of BS that Snowclad is shoveling to sell cutting boards. I have had my board for 2 months and the aluminum is denting from usage. We shall see how long it lasts, but OK for now. ... show more
