This is a nice lightweight cook kit suitable for car camping or backpacking. I am a Scoutmaster who ordered two for the troop I lead, and so far they have survived three camping trips with the abuse teenage boys can put gear through (although they did manage to destroy one of the collapsible water bladders when a kid stepped on it when it was full. Despite the noted aversion teens have towards washing dishes, they have managed to properly clean the non-stick surfaces every time- unlike the prior sheet metal cook kits they used, we have not had to deal with rewashing at home due to residual bacon grease, etc. The kit packs into a small enough footprint to fit inside any standard backpack and is quite lightweight. The drinking ups may be a tad small - they can handle a small cup of tea or coffee, but are too small for most of the kids' capacities or to serve as a soup/stew bowl (which the kit lacks) so I will continue to carry my military-surplus canteen cup.

This product is definitely a must have for campers. Everything is made of quality materials and is built to last. Great for the price. My boyfriend was gonna buy three different sets to get everything that this kit includes and it was gonna cost twice as much. We are In love with this and it all easily fits into our camping backpack easily!!!

I am building an off-grid cabin. While building it, we are camping on site and cooking all of our meals with this mess kit. I don't really have any good photos yet, but here is what I have. This has everything I needed for our campsite meals. plates, cups (although too small), pots with lids, and even a bag with large utensils, even a kettle for boiling water and making coffee! and a big 3 gallon water jug. This is a great general purpose cook kit with everything you need to start a camp kitchen. And everything nests together very nicely! Well done.

We just got this set and used it immediately! I was upset with the water container spicket as you can see in the picture! However, the rest of the set worked nicely and was easy to pack and store without taking up significant space! I will update my review as I use it more this summer on my trips.
