SnowJoe charger seems solid
For some absurd reason, SnowJoe the company refused to offer complete package deals on their newer smaller Snow Shovels (cordless), of which I ordered one on eBay directly from them, and then had to order a battery and charger separately, which was highly irritating. SnowJoe claimed they lacked stock on these items, which makes no sense given it's the height of a huge winter storm season. Anyway, the first dealer I ordered a charger from didn't have them either, so I had to get a refund and then order this one on Amazon. It showed up Sunday morning. However, this was priced right, and it was new and sealed, and charged the battery I got in under two hours, which is great. It seems to be a well-made charger, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. No thought involved, just plug your battery in and let it charge till you get full two green lights. If you can though, buy the snowblowers as a package, because you cannot use them without a charger of some kind, and the batteries. ... show more

It's perfect!
I've used it like 4 times and not complaints about it, the charger work as intended, when the battery is full the charger stops charging battery and i haven't had an over heating battery so far

Hard to find ~ and ideal to have charged up and at the ready for the wintry snowfalls. No one wants to stop a job halfway.
Great to have charged up and ready to run, when the weather forecasters start speaking of snowfall in inches, vs. flurries. i bought the corresponding battery from Amazon also - these fit the Snow Joe iON18SB. A full charge is estimated by the manufacturer of the snow blower to be approximately 45-60 minutes. Depending on the density or volume of snow, the run time would certainly vary. i prefer to be able to finish the job with the cordless battery-operated snow blower, instead of needing to manually shovel any remaining uncleared areas. This charger is easy to use and it lets you know when your battery is ready for use.It also has a chart on the front that tells you the different stages of the battery (half charged; fully charged; no longer useful).
