Putting it together was quite easy as I just needed to screw the handle in place. This will be a great addition for making frozen drinks for parties as well as slushies or snow cones in the summer time. The ice essentially shaves/crushes into soft fine ice quickly. So ez to unbox and use. Within minutes I had shaved ice! Fine grinding. Good to make snow cones or bingsoo. My kids loved it!!! This is a must have for parties and or fundraisers. You can sell sno cones and make a lot of money! This is great!!!

The media could not be loaded. Ice machine was super simple to set up and runs like a champ making tons of shaved ice for drinks or snow cones! Definitely a good investment for any parties or events!

This was much larger than I was expecting, but instead of using on my regular kitchen counter, it's found a spot in my outdoor kitchen (which is protected from the elements). It was great when recently I hosted my family for a reunion. It was especially popular with the kids. I just filled it with ice, got an assortment of flavored syrups and everyone could make the flavored slushie of their choice. I also have tried it with different fruit compotes which were a delicious, refreshing - and low calorie - treat! If you have the space, I definitely recommend this i crusher!

This is a very heavy duty shaved ice machine. It is heavy and powerful. It is not as loud as I thought it was going to be. I wish i was a little easier to store it when not in use, like if the top inverted inside the tub. Otherwise it is really fun.

I have an ice addiction and have a hard time getting enough ice that has the texture that I like. I don't like the hard traditional tray or automatice fridge ice- but the type you get with a snow cone or slushie or the soft, chewy ice. I loved going to the fair and other events and just getting a plain ice snow cone with no flavoring- I was ectatic to come across this machine. I have looked at other counter top ice machines- but they can only produce a small amount at a time or it takes a long time to refreeze more ice. That would be a complete waste of money. This machine allows me to make a batch in the morning and have all the ice I want for the day. I put the excess in the freezer in cups and just grab a new cup throughout the day. I also don't have to do an entire bag of ice at a time- while I can make quite a lot at a time- I can also make just a little. My kids love it, too- but they like to squirt flavoring on them. I was even able to order reusable snow-cone cups to always have ready for fun. I also work with a homeschool resource center that holds events and I am excited to be able to offer snow cones to our families this year during our upcoming conference.
