This film does exactly what it says it does. That’s why 5 stars. It doesn’t mean it blocks all heat and it fixed everything. I’d say it allows more than 70 percent of light but I can’t measure it. It’s slightly darker but not as much as most window tint in cars. I don’t understand the people that say it doesn’t block heat. After applying to half of the windows and waiting a few hours there is a huge difference in the temperature of the glass and standing behind it. Naked glass= pull your hand back real quick. Tinted glass= ok it’s a little warm. Standing behind each one is the same. That’s hot and that’s better. Not perfect or cold. Perhaps someday we’ll have that. For the UV. I have it in my business. There are stickers on the windows that are not UV protected and faded quickly. I put this on top of new ones and they look the same a year later. So real life they do block heat and they are UV blocking. I’m sorry if you can’t seem to apply it perfectly. And blame the product. Mine aren’t perfectly applied. I’m not a tint specialist. Ive applied quite a bit of tint and large scale decals in my life. And I’m content with how it turned out vs the money to have a pro do it. Some things in life require skill. If you’ve never done this then know it won’t be great. But the tint itself is. You aren’t perfect at everything. It’s not even possible for the glass to be hotter on the inside than before with this installed

This a good solution for a low cost window film. It's not dark enough for privacy, but works well to keep the sun out and heat down. The color isn't too dark to effect with glass appearance. The instruction were included and if followed exactly its not too difficult to install and adhesiveness is good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because I have some doubts on the durability because of it being thin.

Absolutely junk. Do. Not waster your money. The install is impossible. The instructions provided are for a different product. You have no idea which side is supposed to make contact with the glass. If you happen to get it write, you then have millions of bubbles and soap suds behind the film. Heating with a blow dryer melted the film. 1 hour of YouTube videos and guess work wasted. $50 wasted.

This film is awesome. I have used it prior and it gets easier to apply each time I do it. The key to making this easy is to cut the film to the closest size that you need and having the proper tools readily available. I can do the job with no assistance by using some 3" clear tape, a spray bottle with water and dawn mixture, a hard squeegee, a good razer blade, some paper towels and a ladder if required. 1.) Determine which side of the film has the clear protective side that will be removed. Sometimes you need to put a thick piece of tape on a corner to help you lift the clear protective film from the tint. DO NOT REMOVE THE CLEAR FILM YET. Once you are able to seperate the film from the clear protective film, fold over the clear film corner about 1/4" onto itself. This corner tab will give you a place to grab onto when you go to remove the clear film once its in place. 2.) Unroll the film and tape it flush at the nearest corner so that you will only need to cut one side. MAKE SURE the clear film side is touching the window, about 1" above where I want it to start from the top. Line up the left or right side so it's flush to the side of the window. Your window tint should now be about 1" above where you want it to start and flush on one side with the windows edge. 3.) Cut off the right or left side excess film all the way down, allow about an inch overlay on one side. 4.) Remove any excess film at the bottom. It should just be touching where the glass ends. 5.) Make any adjustments at this time to get the film positioned in the best possible position using the tape to hold it in place at the top before you continue. 6.) The film should be lined up even and flush on the one side all the way from the top to the bottom. SECURE THE FILM WITH TAPE. You need to be able to tug on the film a bit without it moving. 7.) Once the film is secure, grab the spray bottle of water. Pull the film back and spray the window thoroughly from the top to the bottom. It should be dripping. 8.) Carefully begin to remove the clear film from the top by pulling down on both sides evenly to about 1 ft. 9.) Grab the spray bottle and do a heavy spray on the tint where you removed the clear protective film. 9.) Carefully remove the tape from the top where you securely attached in place. 10.) Slide the window film so the top of it is now at the very top of the window. If the tint is sticking and you're unable to slide it easy, you need more water. It should easily slide into place. Make sure the side and top are flush to the edges. 11.) Grab the squeegee and use it to push the water away from under the tint and make it flush to the window. Once you have nearly secured the 1ft area, go ahead and spray the window again, and remove another 1ft of clear film in an even manner on both sides. 12.) Spray the window tint again and begin to adhere the film to the window withe the squeegee. 13.) Continue this process until the entire window is covered and adhered to the window. 14.) Start at the top with the razer and remove the excess window film all the way to the bottom. 15.) Squeegee from the top down again removing any bubbles, etc. 16.) Use the razer and cut off the bottom excess film. 17.) Squeegee the bottom to tuck in any remaining film. 18.) Use a paper towel to clean up any excess water on the door sides and floor. 19.) You can use a hair dryer to help remove any excess bubbles or wait until the next day to see if any remain. I usually wait a couple of days before I use any cleaner on the window to make sure the tint sets. The left window is done, the right is not. You can see that you don't lose any resolution or clarity with the tint, but you stop the heat.

Great product I love the way that it sticks to the glass very seamless and you have to be a little careful on installation so you don’t fold the paper but I bought a tent installation kit for 12 bucks an animated super easy to stick. Absolutely love it 10 out of 10. I did get the 50% and the clarity and black tint love it

I can't really say this delivers on its promises. - Does it tint? Yes. - Does it look good? Yes. I got the 70% and it's a decent color. - Can you tell it's there? Not unless you get a darker shade. - Does it block heat? Not for me. - Does it block UV? Just barely but definitely not 99%. - Worth the price? No, I could have just gotten any generic cheap window tint to end up with the same result. I looked through nearly a hundred different options claiming to make a UV blocking heat blocking window film. I didn't want to pay the ridiculous cost for a professional service to come in and install patented ceramic film I'm apparently not allowed to buy myself. So after days of combing the Internet I decided this looked the most legit. Well my conditions it definitely doesn't work. In the summer part of my house has a lot of windows facing direct sun late in the day. The windows get up to 130F on hot days. The light shining on my wood floors can get up to 90F. I measured the temp of a set of 3 windows on one wall and put the film on one of them. They were all about the same 94F on 80F temp outdoors with 84F on my floors where the sun shines. I waited until the next day then checked to see they were all still the same temp with no real difference on the film window or the floor where the sun shines and the UV was still coming through although just slightly lower than the control window next to it. Well they say it can take up to 7 days to "cure" the ceramic film on the window... so I waited. Now after 14 days I tested again. The window with this film is actually hotter than the other windows. The UV is definitely still coming through and the heat on the floor is exactly the same with the regular window vs the window with the film. So I can't say their claims are true. Now I assume it's true for the 5% but I kind of wonder if all these measurements were done on the 5% and not on every one. This was easy enough to put on but it attracts hair and lint like crazy so be quick about putting it on. I'm going to measure the actual UV throughput and might do the other windows with the film I already purchased but so far I'm not impressed with the claims vs what was delivered. You know what actually made a difference? Curtains. I'd like to see through my windows and have light during the day though. This was my best hope but I guess the only real solution is to pay professionals to install the pricey LLumar stuff.

I had no issues installing. Make sure everything is wet so it is easy to move around. Get a shape knive and a good squeegee. The windows were on the smaller size but a curved (fan) type. Seems to make a difference in temperature. They are a very light blue. Barely noticeable for the 75% VLT.
