I don't feel that I am an oddly sized person, but this chair seems to be designed for a human-giraffe hybrid. I'm just like, normal. But somehow the neck part of this thing, while adjustable, only adjusts to a flamingo neck height, a.k.a. the back of my standard-sized head. Which could have been nice I guess, if that was what I wanted to massage. But strangely, the knots I sought relief for were not on the back of my skull. They were in places like my neck, shoulders, and lower back. Somehow this...device...reached exclusively parts of my body that I did not need it to. It did give me an excellent deep-rib massage, and a stimulating spine-cracking massage. Upon trying to make this $130 giraffe head self-injury device work, since it was $130, I followed the instructions in the manual, which said to try sitting on a bunch of towels, and putting some kind of padding between you and the chair, to reduce the..."intensity"...so, in good faith, I grabbed a bunch of towels, and put on an overcoat. This proved to be just a tad bit uncomfortable. And even on a stack of towels, the neck part of this...machine...did not reach the part of my neck I wanted massaged. To make matters worse, the overcoat was making me feel a bit overheated. Its thickness also prevented me from feeling the heat function of the device. Which I guess with the overcoat on, would have been too much, anyway, so, genius design feature there. Also, for $130, I'm not going to use a series of weird back alley "remedies" to make this thing workable. So I decided to return it, but I didn't save the box, because I just assumed, like a fool, that this expensive thing would you know, function properly. On humans. So I spent an hour searching online for a box that had at least one dimension that was 36 inches. This proved more difficult than makes sense. All the boxes that would fit this...thing...only came in bundles of 25 or more, which would be like $50. All I needed was the one. I finally found a "laydown wardrobe box" at U-haul for $6 that worked. Now the thing is gone, and I have purchased a different thing, and I am hoping it is able to accommodate that niche market of those of us who lack ostrich/giraffe/flamingo proportions. ... show more

Very good in-home massager can fit on any chair, even in car. It comes with little pouch attached which you can store the controller. There are enough selections on the controller for neck, full back, upper back and lower back. You can choose intensity and also heated and vibration if needed, rollers along neck is also adjustable. I purchased a 12v car adapter to use this product in the car. Works out perfectly. I am excited to bring this with me to a road trip. Well packaged and good quality which will make a great gift! Update: I bought “SPARKING 12V Portable RCA DVD Player Power Cord - Car Cigarette Lighter Plug Charger DC Power Supply” can also find on amazon, it works out fine in the car. I ended up purchasing this back massager after a particularly persistent bout of back pain and long hours at a high-stress programming job. This massager ended up meeting and exceeding my expectations, and the portability is an added bonus. It is easy to move around the house if needed, set up shop, and relax without needing to hold a massager in place like some of the other handheld options. The ability to control heat and roller location is great for targeting particularly troublesome spots. The rollers seem to be good quality and you can get a pretty good intensity on them if you take the roller cover off. I'm about 5' 4", and the neck portion on its lowest height was perfect. I'm also fairly petite, but found the rollers to be appropriately spaced on my back to get right up along my shoulder blades where I find I carry most of my tension. I would highly recommend it for anyone my size, or even or taller/broader (obviously can't attest to the maximum height here, though). ... show more

This is a great massager that I ever bought. Before that I just bought a massager just for neck and I still have to put both my hands on it to hold it, I don’t feel comfortable with that. But this massager is very cool and easy to operate that have control panel with it . U just put it on the safa or chair and just lay down and enjoying.
