I won't name the brand of it, but its a well known name and I still like it, but the cord and having to be close to a receptacle to plug-in probably kept me from using more than I would have. Plus, it doesn't have most of the features that this one has. Now this unit. the Snailax, so far, has been the Cadillac of massagers for me! Absolutely LOVE that it is cordless and has heat, both features that my old one didn't have. When I first opened it and saw the 4 attachments, I kind of laughed and figured "why would I snap them on this?" Well, as soon as you do, you will see why they are included. Each one makes the massage feel a bit different and are designed for targeting different parts of your body. My favorite one is the 3 headed one with nubs on it, really spreads out the massage over a wider area. I also will say that the massager is better balanced than my other one. Very easy to reach all those hard to get areas and I don't find myself over-reaching or twisting and turning to get to my whole back. Other great features: - 3 speeds - 2 pulsating modes ( can change speeds while in either). - temporary sticker telling what each button does. Helpful for first few uses. - heat I haven't used the heat much, but its a nice feature if you enjoy a little heat with your massage. This is a great massager. No cord!     • The Long Handle Let's Me Reach My Back By Myself
I like this massager. I don't love it. It's not as strong as some others I've tried, and it has less useful heads than others come with. Those are more expensive, however. It has a heat function, but it doesn't get very hot. It charged in a few hours. I got a few sessions of several minutes out of it, which I feel was fine. It has three settings for the strength of the massage and three for either pulsating or steady. It has a few heads, but I prefer the default head that is' built in. I like the strongest and steady settings for my main issue, which is my back. I very much liked that I was able to easily reach anywhere on my back with the massager due to the long handle. That's a huge plus. Sometimes, my husband isn't around or is busy, and I can't reach, so this is nice to have. It's pretty good for the cost. If you need some serious deep tissue massage, I don't think this will be strong enough for you though. It has the speed, but not really the amplitude (how far down it goes per stroke) for deep tissue work. This is not a Theragun replacement, just so you keep that in mind, but then again, you're paying way less. ... show more

    • Strong, effective massager
The back massager is quite big and chunky but it provides a punch which is great for the back. The biggest benefit of it all is that its cordless! I have one that is very similar to this but its corded and it definitely is a hassle having to find an outlet every time I wanted to use it. This takes away that problem and I can take it anywhere with me and use it while I'm moving. It vibrates pretty strongly and isn't necessarily the quietest but it does the job well. Its body is long so I can reach over to my back and side with no issue. The included attachments were a bonus as it gave me options to see what felt better and more comfortable for me.     • versatile unit but very little heat
When first unboxed, I was a bit worried because of the weight concentrated at the massage end. Turns out, that makes it easier to use in that I don't have to apply leverage to get it to focus on an area. For example, I can put on my shoulder and the weight allows it to press into the muscle instead of just skimming across it. It is easy to charge, has three intensity settings, and three modes of percussion. The heat feature is only suppoed to be used when the other attachments aren't in use. The heat isn't noticeable in my opinion and since that was one of the differentiating fators for me, I'm deducting one star for that. Holy cow the relief is amazing! You can reach all over and you can have warm warm heat and different attachments are perfect for each area! They battery charges fast and stays charged for a long time! Super cheap for the quality of the product!

This massager is nice for when you don't have anyone around to help and have a stubborn knot somewhere like your shoulder blade. The handle gives you a long reach. I didn't really care for the included attachments, but they are nice for options. In the cold winter, the heat is nice. It doesn't necessarily offer therapeutic heat, but it does keep you from putting cold plastic on your skin. My only complaint is that it gets a little heavy while using it, especially if you're already having muscle issues. Overall, it's nice and I will use it regularly! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This handheld massager has a long neck so that you can reach your own back to massage it. I couldn’t get a video of reaching my back while using it, but I can easily reach all areas of my back with this- top, bottom, and middle. To use the heat setting- click the little swiggly lines icon. So, I didn’t really get any heat from this. I waited a couple minutes and it never really heated up. There are different modes you can switch through. I find that certain modes work best with different heads. When changing the heads- make sure to twist the head to lock it. If not, the head will fly off when you turn it on. Ask me how I know 😆 ... show more
