The scooter does what it say it does. I rode it around the neighborhood, going to store short trips. The battery life is what is expected and charging the scooter did not take long. The scooter is light and easy to carry. I think that locking mechanism is a little stiff. The scooter no suspension so unless you are going over a very smooth surface you feel everything. If you don't mind that and cost is a factor I recommend this scooter. For my personal taste I have another scooter that has suspension and that what I prefer.

This one did not charge, I sent it back, it took five days to arrive. It took an additional week to refund and this was a Christmas gift. I do not recommend for commuters.

I bought this used for $205. Compared to new ones in the $250 range, this one is on par. So the fact that it is $440 or so new doesn't mean much. The max speed is 15.6, which it attains (or reads that it does). Going uphill is a strain, but can get up to 10 on a moderate hill. My units battery life was 50% after 5 miles at full speed. With the battery life years, you could probably expect 6-7 tops at full speed at 50%. I had to return because Amazon provides no support and I emailed the manufacturer and after over a week received no reply. It came with no charger, missing hardware to attach the handles to the body, and a very loud annoying rattle out of the tail. I could not find any specifications online for which charger or bolts to buy, but ended up getting the correct charger. If anyone needs a charger, it is a basic ninebot charger with a single pin.

Original post: Still less than 180 days from purchase today- charged for use for first time 2 days ago- turned on with error code “E1”-reached out by website chat, fb message (immediately) and email today…no resolution to the problem yet. Standing by for response, but wanted it noted they were notified prior to the expiration of 180 day warranty. Will adjust review once issue corrected or money refunded. Edit add: once the above was posted contact and action was fast, responses didn’t seem automated anymore. Warranty was fulfilled and I would purchase from them again.

The media could not be loaded. SMOOSAT SA3 - I must say first that there is basically a learning curve of about 15min (if that), this is not nearly as hard as learning to ride a bike , or a little scooter as a kid, you will be amazed at how easy this is to ride. -Assembly is so very simple just insert the handle bast and insert 2 scenes on either side and don’t forget to tighten the hand brake as well (everything you need , including tools are included). - The deck is nice and large over 16” plenty room for most feet sizes. - - I must say the first time I rode this scooter I was so impressed by the smooth ride it offers , much better than many other I have tried. - -350watt brushless motor -15+ +mph (depending on weight, grade etc..). -20 mile range -Manual bell to warn other of your approach or passing. -Rubber tires means no worries about a flat tire. -Duel braking- front drum brakes & E/ABS anti-locking brakes. -Weight capacity 220lbs. -Sturdy kickstand. -Electric auto grade battery giving you 50% longer battery life (big plus). -I find the front suspension to be very good and it gives me a smooth and comfortable ride. -There is an app available app that Lets you lock the scooter but does not mean someone can’t carry it off so don’t rely on this feature alone for security. The app also shows your mileage, and many more features. -Front led light as well as back lights that also blink when braking (I really appreciate this feature and have not seen it often). -There is 3 gears available eco gives you up to 6 mph and good for newbies or younger riders, a simple press of a button will take you to the next gear and if you prefer like me, to just ride in the highest gear don’t worry because you can put it in that gear and when you go to get on your scooter next time it will be in the gear that you last used it in. -The led screen included your speed, battery level and more. -This actually comes with a cruise control mode for some added comfort on your ride. -I find being able to put this In my backseat or trunk is so so convenient, I don’t need a bike rack , I can easily fold my scooter and carry it up the stairs or in a building, it is actually pretty lightweight coming in at 33lbs I bell. -Very nice to bring on vacation , using it on bike and walking paths at the beach or around the city . It’s just a great mode of transportation and so convenient to store. -No more rentals, very economical and most of all so very fun.

It works, but the charger overheats

Within 2 months, it started having this E6 error code and would not operate. Straight garbage. Stop selling this until you get it right!
