- Size options: Faux wood blind size is 26 W x 36 H. Mounting hardware will take a small space, thus we suggest you make sure the window width is at least 26.5 or larger for an inside mount. All sizes come exactly same as ordered. For outside mount, please add 4-6 inches on widow width and height for better coverage. Depth tips: At least 2 depth is required for flat mounting. If you need a flush fit, 2.5 depth is required and valance cant not installed

I’d like to start this review for the SMONTER 2" Slat Faux Wood Blinds with Crown Valance- Cordless Horizontal Blinds with an apology! I believed I’d gotten a pic of the components provided (mounting hardware, etc)! I didn’t and they are now up, so I’m afraid I just have to assure you that everything you need to mount these blind aside from tools is provided. All of the screws, brackets etc along with clear instructions for placing and mounting. The blinds were securely packaged and arrived in great condition. These are faux wood, wide slat, room darkening blinds. I chose them as an attractive window covering for a window at the top of our stairs and I am very happy that I did! The hardest part to the installation process was centering and leveling, once the metal hanging brackets (which can be installed to hang from the front or above, in or outside of the window frame) are up, they have a hinged opening to easily slide the blinds into with the bracket installed. These blinds are a nice, bright white and have a good heft to them. They look and feel like quality blinds that will last awhile! The up/down of the blinds is cordless, there’s a wand that hooks onto the blinds to allow the slats to be customized open or shut as you like. The mechanisms all work smoothly. The brackets are sturdy and the screws provided long enough that there’s no fear of little hands accidentally bringing everything down with a yank! The cording is substantial without being overt and also looks like it will do well for the long run. The crown valance was easy to attach with the included clips and really polishes the finish of the blinds.There are also stays, with mounting screws, to affix the bottoms of the blinds to the window. I accidentally broke the tab off of one and so didn’t end up using those but they are standard and handy to have if you don’t want the bottoms of the blinds loose. If you measure well before you order and take a bit of care with installation, I think you’ll be very happy with these SMONTER faux wood blinds. As of this review they are a good value for quality, sturdy faux wood blinds and would make a clean, attractive upgrade for the windows of any home!
