  • Well made and sharp knife
I don’t think I could be any happier with this knife. Maybe if it was a double action. I really like this thing, it’s very high quality and well made. First of all I think it looks great and the weight is perfect for something like this. It’s kind of heavy, but not too much, feels nice and balanced. The clip is strong, feels good in my pocket and is now my EDC knife. It’s super sharp right out of the box. This thing is solid, from a great brand and it’s a great value for the price here on Amazon. One thing that bugs me a little is how loud it is when the blade is activated. It comes out with such force I don’t really know how it could be made to be quieter though. If I have one critique it would be the placement of the release. They put it up by the blade. If my thumb slips off the release button I could catch it on the blade pretty easily. I’m very careful, but it’s definitely something I would like them to change. Overall this is an amazing OTF knife and I highly recommend picking one up. ... show more

  • Great semi auto knife for the Price 👍🏼👍🏼
The media could not be loaded. Good quality knife for the price. Only set back, manual retract which it not to bad and you can over look due to auto deployment…. No complaints, It’s still five ⭐️ and highly recommended to EDC lovers like myself ❤️

  • This knife is AWESOME! Works very well! It also retracts very well!
Press the button while the safety is off (red dot is visible), and the blade is fully extended and locked into place in the blink of an eye or less. To retract the blade, simply press the blade release and pull the blade back into the knife using the slider. I use both hands to retract the blade which makes it easy to do... I am not quite sure why so many reviews fret over retracting the knife quickly or retracting the knife with one hand. I can totally understand a situation where I need the blade out instantly, but I can't imagine a situation where it is absolutely critical to have the blade retracted lightning fast. To me, that's just not important to me and not what I would expect of a knife in this price range. This knife is hefty, solid, and awesome! ... show more

  • Worth It
Bought this knowing it wasn't a full automatic retract. It does work one button to release it though. And as someone else stated it is a little odd to put it away one handed it is doable and doesn't take much to get used to it. I wish it had automatic retract. But all in all I am still impressed with the knife. Smith And Wesson always do a good job. Especially for the cost. Can't beat the quality and an out the front for the price tag. On point. It's solid and has a decent hefty weight to it. But not too overbearing. Very smooth release. ... show more

  • Unusable, Faulty Design—NOT Double Action, Fails to Lock Safely
The only truth to this product is the "OTF" claim, as the blade only sort of comes Out The Front of the hilt/handle. This is definitively NOT Double Action. I understand the need for safety, so there's a safety lock that must be clicked just to try to engage the OTF function. The main problem is deployment: when I try to deploy it, the blade stops 7/8 of the way out, failing to lock in place. This failure alone makes the knife unusable and unsafe. Figuring out the retraction took me five frustrating minutes because there were no instructions—though who would think a knife needs them? After managing to finagle the slider mechanism to get the blade into the locked position, you then have to locate and depress a miniscule, non-descript button at the top to unlock the blade. (As you can perhaps discern in the attached photo, the button is barely visible.) Then, you must slide this retraction mechanism while simultaneously depressing the hidden button, which is totally different from the button used to allegedly open it. This slider mechanism feels cheaply made and does not fluidly slide down its retraction guide in the hilt. The whole process is so complicated, faulty, and unsafe that, for my own safety, I immediately put the plastic guard on the tip of the blade to assist in forcing the retraction before packing it up for return. Adding insult to injury, there is a warning on the back that says "Caution Blade Ejects." The caution should actually read: "Caution: Blade does not lock in place," rather than grossly misrepresenting that the blade forcefully comes out. This is truly a minus 5-star or no-star item—it is garbage. It does not pop open and certainly does not retract with any ease. (1 star provided because the platform requires a minimum rating.) ... show more

  • Not bad - but you can get better for the same money
Meah - It works well but it is HEAVY! Much more so than I expected and heavier than other knives of similar size. Also difficult to close with one hand. It can be done...but takes some practice and effort.
