Second helping

This story has you wanting a sequel. It’s a very interesting concept. I fought the premise for a couple of chapters, but the reader becomes hooked into the premise and has to follow along the story. Then, more, please.

Another great book that you didn't want to put down. I used to read her books all the time and other authors too. Now that I go to dialysis three days a week for hours they have really kept me entertained. Reading is something that is good for everybody. If your just getting started she is a great author to start with. I'm glad a had read some of her books years ago and I'm not going to stop now. As good as she I don't why I stopped reading. Best stand alone book in the Eve Duncan Series

I have enjoyed the Eve Duncan series, sometimes felt too many. But I am cheering for Pandoras Daughter. Good story line and really liked all the Characters. Each had their own strengths and sensitive sides. Of course you now want to read three books, one on the finder, more on Grady and the New guy Harley.. He sounds great. Is this the Argument Clinic? Or Being-Hit-On-The-Head Lessons?

"No, it isn't!" "No, I won't!" "Like hell I will!" If you can get through a full chapter of Pandora's Daughter without wishing someone would whack the heroine on the head with a snow shovel and put her out of your misery, you're either a saint or the mother of a two-year-old. What's supposed to be read as stubborn independence comes across as a case of the Terrible Two's, typified by an ill-tempered reply in the negative to everything from terse commands to attempts at common courtesy. ("I don't want any coffee!") Fans of Monty Python will be reminded of the Argument Clinic sketch, in which a man pays five pounds to argue with a professional, only to receive the same infuriating response to every topic: a variation on "No, you're wrong." The frustrated client snarls, "An argument is more than just a series of contradictions." "No, it isn't." "Yes it is!" Meanwhile, back at Pandora's Daughter, the second half of the story finds our heroine evolving into someone more agreeable, thank heaven. Sadly, she is soon up-staged by her understudy, the even-more-stubbornly-independent Renata. ("I am NOT stubborn!") That's when I realized I had mistakenly wandered into the Argument Clinic's next-door neighbor, Being-Hit-On-The-Head Lessons.
