Unique hollow 2 piece construction allows the sole width to be increased dramatically to make it the most forgiving sand wedge we have ever engineered in either soft or firm sand, and even chipping and pitching around the green. Designed with a negative offset or "face-forward" feature which will help those who may have a tendency to pick or sweep the ball and makes this club virtually shank-proof. 18 index. Been as low as 12. Hours of practice put in and 2 rounds in now. This club is amazing. It takes time to get used to it out of the bunker if that’s what you are buying it for. It’s not your typical swing out of the sand. I have actually found it most useful for the 30-50 yd pitch shots. Gets great spin. The sound is atrocious, but the results hardly allow you to notice it for long. The only negative I have found is that the face must be very hard or coarse, because it has taken some of the finish off the balls on a couple shots. I will try to take a picture next time. That doesn’t bother me much though. Still gave great results. I guess there’s a stigma for carrying a club like this in your bag. I don’t know why. People don’t care what club you hit, and really only care about your score if it’s above theirs. Don’t worry about what others think, and give this club a chance. A great club for the price. This club immediately improved my game from the sand traps. The club shape and weight makes it easier to blast out of the sand. A nice addition to my set of clubs.

Had this in the bag for two rounds before having the opportunity to use it (patting my own back). When I finally did the ball came out perfectly. I've now started using it all around the green in and out of sand. It's a great club.

My husband purchased the sand blaster and had trouble using it. He watched youtube, but the results he got were quite different than what he saw on the video. He returned it.
