I was hesitant to buy the mouth guard at first but then I decided to give it a try since I ordered before a custom mouth guard with a high price. I was happy that I did order them. Once I received the package I followed instruction to customize it. It was so easy and it did fit my mouth from the first try. This package has 2 small and 2 big ones which makes your money worth it to purchase it so you have extra to use later. Also I use a coal machine with full mask over the mouth and nose so I was worried that it wouldn’t be comfortable but to my surprise I slept through the whole night and since then I’m using the mouth guard daily to stop clenching on my teeth. These mouth guards are great! The set comes with four guards, two small and two large. I only use one guard for my top teeth though, so this set will give me four guards. The large ones are able to be trimmed for a custom fit. They are easy to make. I microwaved a cup of water for a couple minutes, put the guard in for about 30 seconds, put in my mouth and then bit down on it. Not too hard though, the guards are thin and fairly soft. Do not boil the water or leave the guard in too long or it will melt. These are so comfortable, thin as I said, but for me that's a good thing. These are a great value, much cheaper than others I've used and they work just as well. Very highly recommended. ... show more

This was incredibly easy to customize. Hot water, scissors, and 3-5 minutes. Works for me to reduce grinding damage. Definitely worth trying before paying hundreds for one made by your dentist. I don’t believe these will endure like a custom dental guard and I’m sure it’s not as comfortable either - but it’s $10! And you get 2 of each size option. So, $5? ... show more

My dentist recommended I get mouth guard to protect my teeth from grinding and was told I could get one from Amazon for about $10. For anyone claiming it's too hard or stiff, my dentist explained you boil it for 10 minutes to soften it then bite down to shape it to your bite. Don't bite too hard otherwise there won't be much left to protect your teeth, like I did. I didn't want to have extra product filling up my mouth so I cut off areas that felt they had extra than needed, but I think I did a little too much, and while I tried to smooth the areas after, they feel a bit awkward. I put it in when I'm ready to sleep. At first I kept waking up and it wasn't in my mouth it was hidden somewhere in my bed; I guess I kept pushing it out with my tongue or taking it out when I was asleep. I may have gotten more used to it now because that hasn't happened for a bit. Something I don't like is after I've worn it all night and I take it out, my teeth feel a bit sensitive, like my bite is trying to shift, or has shifted slightly. I think the problem is because I didn't mold it while lying in my sleeping position, so I recommend doing that. I'll keep using it until my dentist recommends otherwise. (Note: I haven't seen my dentist since I've started using it.) I rinse it every night before using again, and it's nice to have the plastic holder to set on. ... show more

I actually bought this product a month or two ago, I’m reviewing it now so you know my results. It comes with two sets of guards. Two longer ones and two smaller ones. It's up to you if you wanna use them at the same time, I don't recommend though, the case only fits one set. In order to use the mouthguard, you should soak it in hot water, and then bite to mold it to your teeth. If you use boiling, it'll lose its structure and just be melted. After using this regard, my overbite has gotten significantly less prominent and Im not grinding my teeth as much. When my jaw rests, my teeth are starting to rest on one another and not over another. I definitely recommend sanitizing it with every two uses? I soak the mouthguard in distilled vinegar, and then rinse off with hot water, and then let it dry in order to sanitize it. It'll help reduce the number of bacteria that could grow. I've been using a $26 mouth guard for years and my dentist keeps telling me to get them at the dollar store. But I had a hard time thinking that they'd be worth it. So I started looking on Amazon and found these. 4 for $10 seemed to good to be true but I figured I'd give them a try. I'm so glad I did! The expensive one, compared to this one was like wearing braces! It was so hard and clunky! I had switching over to new guards and I dreaded the lack of sleep I was going to get for switching again. I shouldn't have been worried. When I first took them out of the box, they seemed so soft and thin, I thought they were too flimsy. Little did I realize, that not only weren't flimsy, but so much more comfortable! Soft and thinner, it was amazing how little I noticed it when I slept. The only thing I'd do different, is for the next one, when I'm forming it, I won't bit down so hard. I think I bit too hard (thinking it would be thick like the others) and the plastic over the bottom of my teeth is very thin. I'm wondering how long it'll last. But for the price, I'm not worried. I slept beautifully, it was so comfortable compared to my last one, and I have a feeling this will hold up a lot better than my last one. I grind a lot and I'm not seeing any wear yet at all. These were easy to mold to your mouth, just make sure as soon as you start to see the guard change shape slightly in the hot water you pull it out of the water or it will misshapen. 4 stars due to being bulky and thicker than I found helpful to sleep in for teeth grinding.

This product functions as you would expect. It’s easy to use and does what I need. It’s not as good as what you would have made at the dentist but it certainly is much cheaper. I would buy this product again if needed before purchasing one from the dentist because this works for me.
