Negatives - the lycra is thin which worried me as well as it can be itchy. The closure can be a little wonky getting strapped on. Positives-the mesh is not as dense and dark as other brands so if tou have a horse that can't see well, or wears it into the night I feel they can see better. The way the mask is made keeps the mesh off of their eyes VERY well even if they were rubbing. My mare has been using for 2 wks now? Unfortunately the mesh has ripped where the ear mesh connects to the lycra on the face part. I have however ordered 2 more for my other horses. ... show more

This is a really nice mask but the netting is too loose and too close to eyes so it irritates my horses eyes. Can’t recommend.

My Horse wore this mask barely 2 weeks, not even enough time to get dirty. The binding holding the mesh to the mask started to come apart. the chin piece stretched out and the Velcro wouldn't stick well. He is not hard on his masks, and they usually last a season or 2 with multiple washings. Very thin and poorly made. Will not buy again. ... show more

My horse seems too really be happy with this. It was a great price and I wanted to try it for her sake. It seems really durable, and I love the stretch on it. It seems to do the job, so I am happy with it.

I have a 16hh QH and the large was too big for him. I was surprised by the quality of the mesh. It seemed durable yet soft. The blue fabric was soft as well. The only down side is that the Velcro catches on the fabric a lot. It rips it up.

I dunno about y'all, but we go through these fly masks. The horses are free to go in the pasture at all times, and fly masks just only last so long. But when the flies are bad, we go ahead and mask up. This mask did make it several days before the horse managed to loose it, and the last time I saw him wearing it, it still had no rips or tears. The velcro did seem to still be staying attached, but I am sure I'll find it against a tree out there somewhere. ... show more
