These are by far my favorite mask I've ever had. This is my 5th time repurchasing. If I had to be nit-picky, the first thing that wears out is the ears get holes in them. The sizing can be confusing; at first glance it looks like these run large, (when judging how much the Velcro can overlap), however I don't recommend sizing down. While the Velcro straps are long, the length of the mask (from forehead to nose) is shorter than it looks. I've found when you size down, the edge of the mask can crowd your horses eyes. My 16.1h appendix is a size full, and my 17.2h TB (with a HUGE noggin) is in size X-full. Hope this helps! ... show more

I have tried virtually every fly mask on the market over the past 15 years and they all either come off too easily, tear, or rub. The shires stays on, its light weight and no rubs. Compared to other brands it just feels nicer. I have had on 4 horses all summer and doing great. I have one horse without a shires and she gone through 3 masks over the same period, rubs, rips and lots of time on the ground for the others. Logged on now to find her a shires cob. ... show more

Amazed. We thought we would have to fight them to get these fly screens on. Actually we have to fight them to get them off. Love these and so do the horses. So glad this all worked out. Mister & Holly are thrilled.

I love this mask!! I have a near 18 hand TB with super sensitive ears and have tried several masks but he hated them. I slipped this mask on and he didnt even bat an eye! Stays on well, double velcro, great eye "clearance" ...light weight but keeps bugs out!
