This stuff works. My ferrier carries it with her for horses she is working on, and she got me using it. I'd doesn't last for a week, but it will last a day or two, depending on how sweaty your horse gets. Horses with sensitive skin might not do well in this, but I've used it on thoroughbreds and warmbloods with no skin issues. I never buy any other brand ... show more

Pyranha Equine Spray and Wipe Insect Repellent Water-Based Long-Lasting Gallon Pyranha works better than just about any other fly spray I've used. The photo is for the oil based product which is for giving a shiny sheen to the coat for showing. My horses are used for work and pleasure, and roll in the dust and dirt, which is why I used the water based product that is in the BLUE container. Product is great. Need improvement in packaging the shipment. First order destroyed by shipper, had to reorder. Second shipment box almost destroyed. Product O.K. although the neck of the gallon jug was pushed down, but will repackage in another bottle.
