I own a whole bunch of Smegs. Those I ordered from Crate & Barrel work perfectly, but the blender and mixer I got from this seller broke almost right away.     • Don't waste your money

I have a Smeg toaster, coffee maker and sadly the mixer. All are decent pieces of machinery except the mixer. The first problem and most important is the blades do not touch the bowl. I am constantly stopping the bake to scrape because of a design flaw. I had a Kitchen Aid that was far superior but it was burnt out on African power instability while posted there. This was probably the worst replacement I could have found. I wanted everything to match and that was a mistake. The KitchenAid was a much wiser choice. I know there are really high end mixers like the Wolf but for the money this was a huge disappointment. ... show more
