I've owned several Gopro suction cup mounts, from the official Gopro mount to the cheap ones that come in the variety bundles, and this mount by far is the best one I've used bar none. I've lost several cameras and mounts because of cheap mounts on the race track. Ordered this one and mounted it to the front lip spoiler, door, rear quarter panel and rear bumper. Achieved speeds of well over 150mph+ and this mount held up completely over bumps, sharp turns, and very high speeds. Mount is also incredibly well built, very sturdy, much better built than several of the other more expensive mounts. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a suction cup mount that is incredibly well built and priced.

I had it on my car hood for two battery changes so over an hour and in my car windshield also two battery changed. Both surfaces were clean and it held like it was glued to the hood. Took a bit of effort to pull it off even without suction on. Super strong suction mount. I would not recommend it for a camera much larger than a action camera. Heavier cameras would need a little stronger joints and 3 suction cups. But for action cameras (like my gopro 8 black), it works great! I keep the discs that we're on the suction cups for storage.

I was looking for a new GoPro mount so I could attach my camera to my car for some shots in an upcoming trip. The current suction cup mount I have is a generic, single suction cup mount that may or may not choose to stay put, depending on the day. I decided it was time for something new that I could trust. Enter the Smatree double suction cup mount. The first thing I noticed (and was pleasantly surprised with) is how compact this mount is when the top neck is folded down. I assumed that the height would be something I'd have to work around, but it really does fold in to a small form factor without sacrificing function. It's made of high grade plastic, and I was impressed with the build quality. The pictures really don't do this product justice, it is much nicer in person. The suction cups grab on and don't let go! I stuck it to the outside of my truck and drove around for two days in 90+ degree weather without any issues. The levers to release the suction cups work well and it releases quickly when you're ready to pull it off. The only negative thing I experienced was some difficulty sticking it to my windshield. It may have been user error, but I found that it didn't like surfaces with curves; both of the cups really need to be seated flat on the surface for it to work correctly. Otherwise, this has been an awesome mount!

The Smatree Double Suction Cup Mount is a double cup suction cup mount with a ball head. It includes a tripod mount and thumbscrew. The Suction Cup Mount works with all GoPros in The Frame or any housing. The suction on this mount is best I’ve seen on any mount. Two levers create and releases suction, making it easy to stick on a surface or remove it. The rubber suction cup also has a pull-tab for those surfaces where there is still suction after releasing the lever. I was able to attach it my windshield, hood of my car, fridge, patio door, kitchen table and laptop. when attached to my laptop I was able to pick up the laptop with the mount. While I am confident of the suction when mounted on the exterior of a vehicle, I would highly recommend using a tether in any scenario where the GoPro could fall off. SmaTree recommends using the mount in-car only, but I tested the mount extensively on the hood of my car at highway speeds. I kept the mount on the hood of car and drove around for a week. The mount only came off when I took it off. Once attached, the Double Suction Cup Mount is further adjustable by the ball head. Simply screw the collar, adjust and tighten to lock. The base can be adjusted forwards and backwards. Once adjusted, the mount does not move. With any fixed mount, you will get vibration if the surface that the mount is attached to moves. I've found that vibrations are minimal the Double Suction Cup mount. Any vibrations were easily removed in post via image stabilization. It also comes with a plastic thumbscrew rather than aluminum one. SmaTree should include aluminum thumbscrews with all of their GoPro accessories. The Double Suction Cup Mount has amazing suction, enough to hold the GoPro on the exterior of a car and is a fraction of the price of the GoPro Suction Cup mount. It is the best suction cup mount and will work well for someone who wants to mount their GoPro to smooth surfaces such as windshields on car exteriors. A great addition to the GoPro toolkit.

Not sure what to say about this. It is more or less the same as my single suction cup mount, but with 2 suction cups. It's not huge, it's not tiny. It holds to a clean surface fine. We tested it on our 2004 F150 4x4, and 2006 Chevy Malibu. Hoods, roofs, doors etc... As long as you aren't trying a surface too curvy it seems to work fine. The adjuster knob, just like my single one, worries me. It is noisy like it is cracking when I tighten it up. I ended up fixing my single with epoxy and it has been fine since then. I suspect this will suffer the same issue soon. I am not confident this will hold an action cam to a vehicle at high speed, so they racing guys and gals might want to look elsewhere, but for the shots I do for my videos, (Normal highway speeds in a pickup truck, and off road videos) it's steady and well worth it. Time will tell how it holds up. Like I said, I have concerns.
