The chats, are helpful just make sure they are talking about your machine model. The YouTube training is very helpful. If you’re thinking about buying a machine, this is the one! The Smartstitch S-1501 is a quality embroidery machine at a great price. It comes with everything you need to get started, from frames, cap driver, thread, tool box with tools, and amazing customer service. They even pre-thread the machine for you! They set up a 1:1 service portal for you to ask questions directly to their service reps and assign someone to you for general advice on projects. I would definitely recommend.

I love my machine! I was completely new to embroidery and the purchase included a training session to go over the basics of the machine. Like all things, embroidery is a learning process but with the Facebook group and the dedicated support group, you always have a place you can turn to for help and answers. I haven’t had anything break in the year I’ve been using it, and minor maintenance is easy to DIY with the online info videos. If you’re getting into embroidery, this is the best machine to start out with!

Machine is very intimidating, but don't let that stop you from purchasing! The company has great training on how to thread and troubleshoot. You'll be added to messenger chat groups for other support. Paula, my trainer, not only answered me in a timely manner, but also video chatted with me to make sure I was threading the machine properly. You'll need a forklift to move the crate, and two very strong individuals to move the machine onto the stand once the stand is out together. Mine came with 15 spools of thread, stabilizer and some extra needles. Happy embroidering!!
