This product has served a great purpose for our daughter’s nursery for a solid year or so before falling off. As you can see in the pictures, the adhesive is coming off and the covering is falling off by itself. I’m assuming this is because of the direct sun on it, but it is still disappointing and annoying to have to fix. I got rid of the extra adhesives so I need to find a new solution. I do like that you can cut them to size. Even cutting to size, there are tiny slits of light that come in but it could also be user error. I ended up buying this for my other daughters room and planned on it for our sons, but his gets direct sun all day too so not sure the best solution for his room. They work wonderfully alongside blinds and blackout curtains, or even just the blanket curtains. If you are looking for maximum darkness, would recommend using all 3 together. I’ve found having them up that I don’t open the blinds often because it’s one more layer to mess with, but given that it’s in our kids rooms, that’s okay. ... show more

To set up a home theater, my giant window needed this curtain. Perfect size and was easy to install— but I used a sturdy metal curtain rod (32$ at target) and shower rings with clips (24 count also from Target18$) to hang the curtain. I did not use the Velcro tabs. I also did not install a center curtain rod post, so the curtain can be slid to one side of the window ( like a shower curtain) when not needed. Excellent room darkening and controls heat from sun shining into window. I recommend this curtain and the installation method I used. ... show more

These curtains work really well. I was able to cut to size and the velcro was great. The velcro was strong and came in paired strips about 3 inches long. The reflective back cuts down heat from the son on the west facing windows. Glad I purchased.

Very easy to install and immediately felt the heat difference! Covers light very well and blocks the heat nicely. Easy to cut and size as needed, blocked out all the light in the daytime, with only minors cracks of light (user error, I just have a weirdly shaped window and I wanted it to be easily able to open).
