This robot is complete crap. It can move forward on a hard floor, can squat, and can wave its paw. That's all it can do. The application is absolutely fake. The robot cannot connect to it, this is a scam. Oh, it can also play music, but there's a terrible and very loud beeper that makes your ears hurt. The only reason I didn't return it is because it was a gift for a child. I strongly disrecommend purchasing it.

This is a present for my daughter. The robot dog is well packaged and delivered on time. It comes with rechargeable battery, charged by usb-c, which is convenient. You do need 3 aaa batteries for the remote. Buttons with multiple functions make it fun for kids to play with. I have not tried to use the app yet, but it seems supporting customizable actions. Expect to try it out! Sounds are loud and clear. It is solid build. Overall a good STEM toy for kids 7 and above.

I hate to be critical because I love robots so much, but I have a few complaints. 1) the voice is kind of annoying. It's English, but with a fairly strong accent. I have no problem with the Chinese language, but I feel like they could have found a better voice actor. 2) it has that stupid RC battery thing that looks like an AA battery with leads coming off it. Please just make the robot able to charge with a USB. I don't want to have to remove the battery door and battery every time I want to charge it. 3) I've had intermittent issues with the controller being unable to connect with the robot. I'm currently fighting this issue right now. 4) it is unable to right itself if it ends up on its back. I know that would be a complicated feature to include, so I'm not mad. I'm just saying. 5) the programming on some features could have been better thought out. I bought my kid a bunch of robots for Christmas, so I can't remember if this one can be programmed or not, but just keep that in mind if you're an obsessive adult who loves robots, lol. Positives: 1) my seven year old daughter LOVES it. 2) it has some pretty cute programming. 3) who doesn't love a Boston dynamics-style quadruped? 4) the face is adorable 5) even my two year old loves it and interacting with it, even if he doesn't have good control over it.
