My old smart bulbs were burning out rapidly, and the current cost of replacements is simply ridiculous. Looking for a more economical solution, I landed on Amazon's top inexpensive smart bulb, and I'm genuinely impressed! These bulbs connect effortlessly with Alexa and Google, and so far, they've been perfectly reliable. Installation was surprisingly simple—if you can cycle a light switch a few times, you're all set. The basic control app makes dimming and setting up automations very intuitive. I bought two packs, totaling eight bulbs, but two were unfortunately dead on arrival. Despite this minor issue, the value and performance of the working bulbs are excellent, which is why I'm still giving them a solid 4-star rating.

I replaced all the bulbs in my house with these, and they are perfect - easy to connect to the Treatlife app, seamlessly integrate with Alexa, and offer excellent color temperature settings. Of the 60 bulbs I purchased, one bulb failed to change color temperature. I contacted customer support, and they immediately sent me a replacement. I am glad I chose a company that stands behind its product and genuinely cares for its customers.

4 Months Later Update: Downgrading from 4 stars to 1 star After several months of use I would not recommend these bulbs. I bought 2 boxes worth of bulbs (8 bulbs in total) and have used them in my master bedroom, bathroom, and living room. First time using smart bulbs and my original review was way too positive simply because I had never had smart bulbs before. Here are my thoughts after 4 frustrating months of daily use with these bulbs. These bulbs are not worth the few bucks saved vs some more expensive options from well developed brands imo. These bulbs do a decent job functioning only under BASIC conditions, such as permanently setting the light to one color/hue setting and then never messing around with it again. That's it. And at that point, why not just buy a much cheaper standard bulb to do the same job? If you are trying to use these "smart" bulbs for anything smart, be prepared for frustration and wasted time. The software and app these bulbs use is unfinished, broken, and littered with bugs. Here's a list of really annoying issues I've had with these bulbs and why I don't consider them to be "smart" bulbs: - In the app you can organize bulbs into groups, but you can't edit the settings of all bulbs in a group. This means, if you want to make specific settings for all bulbs in a room (such as a schedule or automatic daytime rhythm), you have to do so manually for EVERY SINGLE BULB. - The automation functions you can create in the app don't work at all. Period. As of this writing, you can only create functions to turn lights off/on. That's it. Not very "smart". You can create "scenes" which are just color/hue settings for individual bulbs, but you can't apply these settings to a function for automation. There is a button, it just doesn't work at all. A common feature of the app. - The schedule mode is broken and won't get rid of deleted schedules on your bulbs. I created schedules to have my lights automatically turn off after midnight. Later decided I didn't want this function so I removed and deleted it. Yet it's still encoded into my bulbs and there is no way to get rid of it. If I turn off my lights through the app beforehand (vs turning off my lights with the light switch), the bulbs now will turn on at midnight, even though nothing is set for them to do this. This is extremely annoying when trying to fall to sleep. The only work around I've found is having to turn off my bulbs with the light switches so that no power is going through the bulb. I still have these bulbs, mainly because I am cheap and don't want to buy any more bulbs. But I would never recommend these bulbs to anyone. I have had to waste so much time troubleshooting broken features and tweaking settings for each bulb 1-by-1. Honestly would have been better to have just bought regular bulbs. Original Review (OUTDATED): I recently purchased these lightbulbs and have been using them for a few weeks now. The setup process was quick and easy, and I had zero problems setting the bulbs up. All I had to do was download the mobile app, ensure my phone was connected to my home wifi, turn on my Bluetooth, screw in the new bulbs, and turn the light off and on a few times for it to sync with my phone. I did have to make sure beforehand that my wifi would reach the location of the bulbs, but once that was taken care of, everything was smooth sailing. The bulbs themselves have a great range of hues and brightness, and they are quickly responsive when switching their settings through the app. Speaking of the app, it has plenty of great custom-ability and features for the bulbs. I found the UI to be easy enough to navigate and use. You can group lightbulbs together based on room locations or custom groupings, and you can save different lighting settings. The app already comes with a few scenes preinstalled, such as light settings for work, reading, and night. However, I was disappointed to find that the automation settings in the app were still broken. The automation has options for changing lightbulb settings depending on your location, time of day, etc., but there is currently a glitch where you can't add the scene you want to use, making the automation unusable. Despite this, the bulbs themselves work great and are very responsive, so I am hopeful that the company will fix these minor software issues with updates to the app in the future. Overall, these TREATLIFE Smart Light Bulbs are a great value for the price, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for affordable smart lightbulbs. They are easy to set up and use, and the range of colors and brightness is impressive. The app has some issues, but it seems like the company is actively working to improve it, so I am hopeful that the app will continue to get better over time.

Great so far but kind involved with using the two apps to get the bulbs to work with Alexa to control .I think I am done getting everything to work but I will wait and see if they stay connected.These bulbs are adjustable for all kinds of things which I like.Worth every penny if they hold up and stay connected.I recommend so far.I think my main problem is mine are outside and very hard to stay connected.We will see.

I got a "coupon" in the box for a free 1"x16' smart LED strip. When I responded with an email, I received an email back stating that to get the "free" light strip, I have to buy it first, then give them my PayPal, and they will refund it. If it smells like a scam, it is a scam, especially when the email contains a lot of gramattical errors and comes from China (where Paypal would have no recourse to refund me). Bottom line is these light bulbs are great, but don't trust the company. *** I installed five of these bulbs on my front porch, and I like that I can control them individually, change the brightness, and also change the color from soft white to sunlight (six different color / shade settings). The Treatlife app is a little hard to use, and is not documented. I discovered you can only change the settings if the bulb is set to the 'off' position. When it is on, the only setting you can change is to turn it 'off'. The basic app has scheduling and all kinds of other features. Once integrated with Google Home, you can only change the brightness and turn the bulbs on or off. I think that's a limitation of Google Home rather than the bulbs. I will order more for other areas of the house to schedule and simulate somone home when we are gone. The bulbs themselves are nine watts (60 watt equivalent). I wish they came in a 15 watt version (100 watt equivalent) for larger rooms.
