Really like this thumbprint handle. Our thumb prints read 98% of the time 1st try. The remaining 2% our fault- if our hands are wet or we don't get the pad of the finger on the scanner right it won't read. I like that it has a swipe card and numbers right on the handle plus a key in an battery failure. I also like the auto lock turn off feature, it's easy to use. The only "downside" if it can be called that,is its a little noisy when locking/unlocking due to the electronic nature of the system. It's to be expected and nothing too loud, but it can startle or wake a light sleeper. All in all I'd recommend this (and have) to anyone needing an easy, self locking, non keyed system. I will say we have only used it on an internal door not exterior facing so I can't say how elements affect it. ... show more

As title says, the fingerprint works but if your fingers are wet even slightly like after a shower, washing your hands etc the fingerprint reader doesnt work at all. however they also include passcode and key as well if your fingerprint doesn't work. Overall worth the money for keeping a room more secure from roommates, kids, etc. ... show more

Just installed this lock and the set up was easy. I’m giving this 4 stars because it only came with 1 key card and 1 key instead of the 2pcs each that was advertised. Very disappointing 😔

Does as advertised comes with mostly everything you need to set it up has a bunch of keys for just scanning finger print and the number pad it also comes with 2 metal keys for when the door handle dies you can still get in had this 2 months no real issues with it i got this thinking it'd be great for my room my 90 pound pyrenees and 50 pound lab had other ideas since it's flat and not round they can stand up and smack it 10/10 handle make sure to keep in mind how your animals could use the handle or it will mess up the inside of your door! ... show more

I have had this door lock installed on my master bedroom door for a month to keep the kids out when we’re not home. The functions work well and it’s very nice looking HOWEVER, you will go broke buying batteries for this doorknob. While home, the door is on free passage mode so we only activate the lock about twice a day. It takes 4 AAA batteries and we have changed the batteries 4 times within the month last time being last night where it still read 24% battery. However the keypad was not functional and less than 24 hours of changing the batteries it currently reads at 59%. We even started experiencing to see if Energizer or Duracell batteries would last longer and the verdict is….(insert drumroll)… NEITHER!!! It doesn’t matter what batteries you use and you cannot use rechargeable batteries with this doorknob. I can’t imagine someone using it on an entry door where people are going in and out multiple times a day. We are currently searching for another doorknob to get rid of this one. ... show more

This lock is super easy to install and is no more difficult to add a standard door knob. If you pair it with the bridge device that allows it to connect to the internet, you have a great remotely accessible lock. There are so many different ways to unlock it. The key fobs are great for anyone who just wants to use the fob, although you do have to hit the sweet spot on the door handle in order for it to work. The thumbprint reader is a little tricky on hitting the sweet spot for it to read your fingerprint. It also comes with key in case power runs out. I highly recommend this lock even with those relatively minor problems. ... show more

I bought this lock as a replacement for another one I had bought 2 years ago, and I am so happy I did. The item was well packed and had everything needed for installation. It took me about 5 minutes to install, and the lock works like a charm. Connecting it with the Tuya app was a piece of cake, and programming the enclosed cards, as well as registering my fingerprint.
