    • Best portable dual hose AC unit I've owned
This is the best portable AC unit I've bought to date. I have bought a total of 5 portable AC units in the past 10 7 years - 3 single hose and 2 dual hose units (I have no central AC or ability to install central AC). The dual hose units are worth the extra money. No heat is generated from them/the hose. Anyway, we were getting a heat wave and by day 3 my house is unbearable because it doesn't cool down at night. We tend to run 2 units in the main part of the house during heat waves and this was the second unit. It's quiet and runs great! I waited a day before I hooked it up and had no problems with it. My house DID NOT become unbearable during this heat wave! Anyone who has a portable AC unit knows it needs to be drained (if you don't have a way to auto drain the unit) regularly. I will say it runs better when it's drained daily. During the heat wave we got high humidity so it was drained daily. Therefore I really cannot comment on the "72H Drainage-Free + Self-Evaporating System for Zero Maintenance" section. Humidity in the NE is usually high. I like the timer - that works great for my needs. I have used this in the main part of the my that includes an combined living room and dining room area and it is noticably cooler when I come home. I cannot comment on the Alexa or using your phone to control it - that is not something I need nor want to do. I will say the set up was easy to do. Oh another thing I love about this unit - the hoses do NOT come off the rear of the unit when you are moving the unit or connecting it to the window area (my other unit by another brand is horrible - the hoses come disconnected very easily). For this fact alone, I will likely replace my other dual other with another one of these units. Anyway, I do recommend this unit. I would say some of the negative reviews are people who do not research what they buy! THANK YOU!!!!! ... show more

    • Far Exceeded my Expectations
Fantastic unit! My central HVAC unit is toast, and I bought this to limp me through the summer unit I can replace the entire system. I planned on moving the air conditioner from living room to bedroom as I need it. I have not had to move it from my living room, and my entire 2200 sq foot house is comfortable. I have an open concept ranch, so different home layouts may have different results. The unit runs quiet and setup was very easy. Worth every penny I paid for it, my summer will not be miserable. The remote is nice and works well. I didn't do the Bluetooth to the cell setup; I don't want another app, but it does have the option. I would 100% recommend. ... show more

Received a Frigidaire dehumidifier in the box. It looked nice and still had the tape on it. Unfortunately I had to return because it wasn't what I needed. Once the correct replacement shows up, I'll update this review and give the actual product a fair and honest shakedown.

Works very well. Set up was easy and the controls are straightforward. We bought this for a 900 SF apartment and it cools the place well with an added fan to reach other rooms.

    • Cool air, NOISY tradeoff and not cheap
I just got this, was pretty excited, looks ok and cools fast, BUT it is indeed LOUD and annoying sound... It doesn't have a consistent hum like a normal unit, but rather a vibrating brrrrrring noise that goes up and down... On lowest settings it's measuring around 47-50 DB from about 10-12 feet away... So yes, it cools well and fast, but make sure noise won't bother you... For the price, I honestly expected softer sound... It's heavy and it's hot in my house, so I don't feel like boxing it back up to return it, but I'll see after a couple of days if I can't get used to it... Like a fast jackhammer sound I think... Imagining I live in a city where construction is going on... Maybe that'll help 🤷♂️ ... show more

I bought this because my other 2 little air conditioners just couldn’t handle the load they were given but I bought and put this in my room that’s 500-600 square feet It. Is. Amazing! Best purchase I’ve made in a while. If you need a powerhouse of a portable ac YOU FOUND IT!
