    • Awesome scooter for the money!
So to start this unit feels well built. I put it to the gps and it actually hit 16mph! On a normal sidewalk if almost feels to fast. It seams to have enough of power. At 260lbs it has no problem pulling me up decent hills while only loosing 1-2mph. I ride on it with my daughter and I (probably close to 300lbs. I know over the weight limit) and only looses 2-3mph on those same hills. Battery life is pretty good. At my weight and running on high speed with and having to stop at intersections I still get 10 miles on a charge and more at lower speeds. For the money this is a great first time scooter for anyone. The app is super easy to use. I love that you can set speed limits for different gears so I set the medium gear to match my daughter's electric go kart so it's easy to follow her. I bought this for my 10 yr old and she loves it!! It’s tall but so is she and can grow into it. It’s a perfect speed, not too fast to get herself hurt. Love the lights on it and digital screen. I would buy again.

    • Fun to Ride!
I’d say that the advertising is accurate for speed and distance. First, set up is easy. No problems there. I downloaded the app, but wasn’t thrilled to have yet another app installed on my phone. It didn’t connect on the first couple of times, so I canned trying it further and got on the scooter. I thought that the scooter worked dependent of the app, but it doesn’t. The option of having an app is nice, but also not having to connect to an app is nice, too. Once on the scooter, it just needs a small push (just like being on a skateboard to gain momentum) and it comes to life. I was surprised by the pickup speed. It does nicely going up hill which was another surprise. The brakes work well, and the scooter can pick back up speed decently. The first few times I rode it, I didn’t like how the tires felt. They had a stiffness to them, and the ride didn’t feel as smooth. Perhaps I’m used to the scooter by now or the wheels needed some breaking in, but it seems to ride smoother than when I first got it. I like the display, but I wish it had a cover or something to protect the screen. The screen can accidentally get damaged in folded position if the scooter is not handled with care. It has all the information onscreen that you’ll need to monitor speed, distance, and battery life. The headlight works well and is sufficiently bright, so is the brake light. The light on the footboard will definitely get you noticed while riding at night. I’ve let my family and friends ride this scooter and the most frequent comment I hear is that it’s tall. I guess I didn’t notice so much. I’d recommend a helmet while riding this. It doesn’t seem like 15 MPH is fast until you biff. The overall weight of the scooter isn’t heavy, but it feels awkward to carry for me. I’d say that my only real gripe about this scooter is that the latch to lock it down in folded position is a nightmare. Sometimes it goes in with ease and other times it’s a hassle to get the two pieces of plastic to lock into each other. There’s been a few times I’ve hard a hard time unhooking the two plastic pieces from out of each other to put the handle bars into upright position. Other than that, I’ve enjoyed this scooter and think that it’s better priced at $399 than the regular price of $599. ... show more
