I see one reviewer stated that these batteries throw an error on him R5 MK II. I have the R5 MK II and I have not experienced that at all. So far I see no difference in performance between these and the OEM Canon LP-E6P batteries. I'm please with my purcase. I got two for the price on on OEM and the charger to go a long with it. With the release of the R5mk2, Canon has become very territorial about using non-Canon accessories and lenses, often resulting in unreliable performance or no performance at all with 3rd party devices. THESE batteries from SmallRig have been specifically designed and made for compatibility with the R5mk2 (and legacy camera bodies using the LP-E6 form factor.) They have performed every bit the same in my R5mk2 as my Canon branded batteries. I recommend the SmallRig very highly.
