  • Great Quality, Super Value!
Size: 2 Batteries + Charger
This is such a great deal. I have had these batteries for almost 2 years and they have never given me any problems so I just got some more. They came charged between 60% and 80%, nice. They are rated at a higher mAH than the canon lp-e6 so they might last a little bit longer, I haven't done side by side testing. What I do notice is that these batteries function just like canon batteries. Some other non-OEM will not be this way, for example these Wasabi Power will give battery info in the camera and will charge on the canon charger. They are are reading full recharge performance in my camera's battery info after around 2 years of use. The value is clear, for $32 you get prime shipping, 2 batteries 1 charger and 1 car cigarette lighter adapter for the charger and the foreign plug if you're going to Europe. a canon battery cost just about $58 here on amazon. I advise doing what I did which was get two of these packages, which gives you 4 batteries and 2 car ready chargers for a few bucks more than one canon battery! I will probably buy more, you can never have too many batteries! It gives you peace of mind, especially shooting video to know that you are covered. 2 batteries in a battery grip on the Canon 7D gave me approx. 3.5hrs of continuous video recording at 1080p. so half that to get how much a single battery will approx. give you. I have never had any problems but Wasabi Power says it will replace any non working batteries no charge within first 30 days and with only a shipping charge within the first 3 years. Pros- - good quality - inexpensive - functionally identical to OEM Canon battery - may have longer run time than Canon Battery - 3 year warranty Cons- -None Summary- This is the kind of modern product I really appreciate, essential for powering the camera, affordable and long lasting. The company says that their goal is for every customer to be 100% satisfied and I think that with this product that every customer will be. It would be cool to see them make a multi battery charger, maybe a Quad? ... show more

  • Good 3rd party LP-E6xx batteries for many Canon cameras.
Size: 2 Batteries + Charger
These WASABI branded LP-E6xx batteries perform perfectly (with one exception - see below) in all my cameras that use this battery format; 6D2, 5D4, R5, R6ii, and R7. They provide a proper status readout and recharge in body on the mirrorless cameras. The only issue I have found with them, and I can't explain it, is when used as a pair in the 5D4 grip (genuine Canon OEM grip, don't recall number) I get indications of incompatibility where the camera only reports one battery present on the battery status page. Using a pair of Canon batteries in the same setup, both batteries are present on the battery status page in the menu. But taking the same WASABI batteries one at a time in the 5D4 without the grip attached, there were no issues at all and they worked normal. With all other aspects of use, single or paired in a battery grip, there are no issues seen. They charge in my all my LP-E6xx chargers, including the Canon LC-E6 standard AC powered single port charger. Please note: I don't use these as the primary batteries (have Canon OEM LP-E6NH or LP-E6P), I have the WASABI ones available as backups when needed. ... show more

  • Cost effective batteries + charger kit Cost effective batteries + charger kit
Size: 2 Batteries + Charger
This review refers to the 2 batteries + single charger kit. I am satisfied with my purchase, but not impressed. For the price I knew I couldn’t expect more: these batteries are definitively not comparable to the original ones. In fact, despite the claimed 2600 mAh, they last about 75% of my old original Canon 1800mAh battery. Which is still a pretty good deal considering that together two Wasabi batteries + charger cost less than a half of an original Canon one. The charger is solid but smaller and lighter than the Canon one (good when traveling), but it is also less powerful (500 mA vs 1200mA), hence slower. Another difference is that while the Canon charger shows the percentage of charge you have reached in 25% increments, this one only blinks red while charging and green when the battery is ready. Right now I have cycled them about 20 times, and they seem to hold well the charge. I’ll update my review when I will notice that performance are degrading and let you know how many cycle you can expect from them. Notice that I use my Canon 70D only for videos, you may have different results on different cameras and for different use. I wouldn’t be surprised if, for example, they showed a different performance for photography. ... show more

  • Update: Great Batteries
Size: 2 Batteries + Charger
For the price these can't be beat, you have 2 batteries, a charger and cable for home or car. To me it last as long as my Canon batteries. UPDATE(4/23/14): After using this for over 6 months I am impressed by them. Starting off with the batteries, my batteries I know last longer than my regular Canon 70D batteries. I use them almost everyday for videos and I notice that these batteries will last longer. Not much longer, maybe extra 10-20 minutes, but it is noticeable. However, one of my batteries stopped holding it's charge after 4 months. I contacted the seller, and they sent me a replacement, hassle free. They just needed my order number and to verify my address. I was going to deduct a star, but problem was solved and I knew that I will eventually run into a defective product one day; it's just one of things you have to deal with electronics. The charger itself doesn't feel solid like the orginal Canon charger. It feels cheaper, more plastic feeling. No problem though because the price I paid for is very reasonable. As long as it charges the batteries it came with I am happy. As for the car adapter to charge, it works. Only got to try it once and even if I don't use it. It's good to know I have a another way to charge my batteries on the road. Pros: low price, last long, charger for the car Cons: charger feels cheap (it works, so no problem there) ... show more

  • Good batteries, great price, great service
Size: 2 Batteries + Charger
My wife is using these in her 60D, and they have worked great so far. They survived an out-of-the-country vacation, and had no issues with reliability. We haven't had much time with them yet, so I can't say anything about longevity, but the price was better than reasonable. The charger definitely sold me, as it has the vehicle adapter, and that's just a no-brainer. I would absolutely recommend Blue Nook as a seller, as the shipping was without delay, packaging was good, and he even followed up to make sure we were happy with the purchase. Normally, I don't like getting bugged with phone calls, but when it's after I already bought something (rather than before I've committed, i.e. salesmen digging up business), it's much more sincere - keeping a customer is as important, if not more, than trying to gain a customer. Regardless, if you buy these and have any issue with the purchase, I'd bet good money that they'd make it right for you. I will certainly follow-up on this review if we have any issue with the batteries in the future. Reliability will be quite important, as the wife is counting on them for her new photography business. If they have issues within 3 years, I'd surely test out the warranty they claim to have come with. If they last longer than that, I'd be beyond happy! ... show more

  • Excellent value. These batteries are better than the Canon equivalent for far less $.
Size: 2 Batteries + Charger
This is a review of the Wasabi LP-E6 battery kit. I was provided a free sample for evaluation. The Canon LP-E6 battery will cost you about nearly $60. That's right... 60 smackeroons. This Wasabit LP-E6 equivalent battery kit costs a fraction of that and you get 2 batteries, the charger (with foldable AC plug) and a car charging cable plus a European plug adapter. Wow, what a deal this is. Now a good deal isn't really a good deal if the batteries don't perform well. But these do perform well. They are every bit as good as the Canon batteries and actually have significantly greater capacity. I've used other Wasabi batteries, particularly GoPro Hero batteries and they also have exceeded my expectations. I usually live by the mantra that "you get what you pay for." But my experience with Wasabi batteries is that you get way more than what you pay for. These are an excellent battery with great performance at an unbeatable price. How can you go wrong? 2 batteries plus charger for way less than the cost of a single Canon LP-E6 battery. ... show more

  • So far...
Size: 2 Batteries + Charger
Only had these for a week, and only two uses. However, one was for a wedding for a couple I've known for a long time. The groom has served in the US Army for more than a decade and is a childhood friend, so this was super important to me personally. The first battery I threw in and tested (for the rehearsal dinner) was the Wasabi, not the Canon OEM. I walked away that night with about 500 shots (wanted to put the battery thru a little stress test) and walked away with a "full" indicator on the battery (4 bars on my Canon 6D), by the time I got home, it had dropped to 3/4 bars. I charged it, and decided to use it for the ceremony, keeping my trusty Canon OEM in my pocket for a quick switch if needed. The Canon stayed in my pocket...for 1300 shots, and the Wasabi battery was still at 3/4 bars (but I suspect it would soon drop to 2/4 bc the 6D said it was around 60% or something like that)! I swapped out for my Canon OEM battery and used that for the remainder of the night, but I couldn't tell a difference between the OEM and 3rd party Wasabi. The Wasabi may get more shots actually... Anyway, once I pick up a battery grip for the 6D, I'll be picking up at least 2 more of these assuming the current ones don't do anything crazy in the meantime, but I have no reason to suspect they will. (I'll update if they do). My Setup for the wedding (or the portions relevant to the battery usage): Canon 6D (Old and new firmware seems to work just fine) 24-70 f2.8 70-200 f2.8 Canon 430EX II (used almost exclusively at night...didn't use during ceremony, it was outside, in relatively good lighting) PROS: Battery life SEEMS to be as good/a little better than Canon OEM Works with old and new firmware 20% of the price....2 new OEM run roughly $100 on Amazon vs $20 Charger works...actually kind of surprised me, I had several not work in the past. Comes with Euro adapter if need be. CONS: Ummm...I guess TBD, but for now, none! ... show more

  • Excellent LP-E6 batteries for Canon cameras and compatible accessories
Size: 2 Batteries + Charger
UPDATE: After 18 months operating in strict rotation, the performance I get from these Wasabi Power LP-E6 batteries is indistinguishable from a same-age Canon battery. They have never disappointed, even during long shoots. After acquiring a second body, I'm adding additional Wasabi Power packs to our kit.7. Recommend. ----------- ORIGINAL: I've been running these two for seven months in even rotation with the original Canon LP-E6 battery that came with my 70D body and have been entirely satisfied with how they compare to the original. The car adapter came in very recently during a multi-day out-of-state trip and is a feature that the original Canon-branded charger doesn't offer. Having gone to the Boy-Scout-School-of-Photography (be prepared) it's become a permanent part of my kit. Background I always start my shoots with three fully charged batteries and usually swap batteries when the one in the camera gets down to about one bar, if there is sufficient pause, or when changing locations, whichever comes first. I've only run any of the three down to camera shutdown twice since these came into the kit, so full discharge is has not been typical of my use pattern. I adopted this battery-use discipline because I had done some research on Lithium Ion battery wear-out mechanisms and, evidently, deep discharge cycles exacerbate the wear out process. At the end of a shooting day, I recharge all batteries I used (usually only one or two) no matter how deeply discharged. I've been charging the Wasabi Power batteries only with the charger that came with them and the Canon battery only with its charger. This isn't a religious thing: If I purchase accessories, such as an LCD monitor that takes an LP-E6 (which would be a prerequisite) and upped my battery inventory as a result, I wouldn't hesitate to charge Wasabi Power batteries with the Canon charger to keep both chargers working during the off hours. In any event, if I find the need to grow my battery inventory or if any of the three reach the end of the charge-cycle-count lifetimes, I wouldn't hesitate to replace them with additional batteries from Wasabi Power. ... show more
