  • Only saving grace is its size
I've had and tried many practice-sized amps and this one is among the worst. (My favorite sounding is a 10watt by a brand called LEEM.) This 20 watt amp is much quieter than all but one of my 10 watt ones, and that's probably because that amp only has a 2 inch speaker. I was not impressed by this item at all. Let's get into it~ - Not at all that portable, requires wall power and has no battery. The power cable that comes with it isn't terribly long either. - The Bluetooth light only stops blinking when you pair to it, otherwise it will continue to try to be found. The little blue LED is very bright. - Gain only seems to work for the Distortion setting, and then only when you have the knob turned 60% up at minimum. From there it rapidly turns from not that distorted to unusable messy static. - The Bass and Treble adjustment knobs are more Bass and Treble suggestions. They do affect those elements (and each others with Bass affecting Treble, and Treble affecting Bass) but not not in any reliable adjustable way. Using them between guitars to try to get some tonality matching was not feasible. - The Volume setting is usable up to around 75%, at that point it loses tonal definition really quickly while also turning into an ugly distorted mess, and not in the usable way. - For those familiar with the sensation, this feels like playing through a a cheap pair of computer speakers that came with your old HP, Dell, Gateway, etc. - The included cable works adequately and the only negative I'd have to give on it is that it will be irreparable (or hard to repair at minimum) if it ever gets a short. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this amp to anyone who wants to feel good about their playing. It is not a good value for the money and the quality isn't really present. For similar or better pricing, you could get a Honeytone, a small starting Fender/Squier amp, one of many headphones amps from NUX or similar, or hold onto the funds and put towards a much more versatile option in the next price bracket up. ... show more

  • Not Worth Buying
Honestly this amp is pretty awful sounding. The distortion is especially useless. Also, the included cable is made of a very cheap molded plastic and will not be repairable once it begins to wear out. One thing that is also annoying is that the Bluetooth pairing light blinks continuously unless you pair it with a device. This amp's chassis is made of very cheap MDF and if it ever gets liquid spilled on it then it will expand and fall apart. Lastly, even though this amp is rated at 20 watts it doesn't have much usable volume as I've played 5 watt amps that can get much louder than this amp. Don't waste your money on this amp. ... show more
