First, let me say, I love this lamp. It is beautiful, classy, nostalgic (with the pull cord) and has so many functional extras! I wanted to put it by my bed but more so, I wanted everyone to be able to see it, so I ended up adding a table in my entryway just to showcase this lamp. It was my absolute favorite new thing. It still is; but while checking everything out to write the best review to try to express my love of all of these features included with this lamp, I got stopped short when I came to the USB C port. My phone wouldn't acknowledge that it was plugged up, so I tried a another cable, and another. Finally I plugged in a cable that registered... some. I was prompted to check my cable to make sure it was completely plugged in. I did. It was, so I requested a replacement lamp. The replacement arrived quickly. This lamp, unlike the first, had a shinier base in place of the matte black I was so fond of on the first lamp. I was a little disappointed but it was still beautiful so I started testing everything out. Once again, I got to the USB C port and with all of the cables I used, my phone prompted me to check my cable connectivity. This new lamp's USB C will charge my phone but very slowly. I still love the lamp because of all the reasons I listed earlier, but I will not be using the USB C port. Luckily the USB A port works fine. ... show more

This lamp is pretty and the the extra outlets and USB C port are convenient. I really like the convenience of the pull cord and that it can put out three different color temperatures with the included bulb. It's easy to think that the way you turn a lamp on won't matter since none of the methods take that long, but the pull cord is so much easier, faster, more accurate, and less finicky than a turning knob, a remote, an in line switch, or a capacitative/touch button. If you are using it a lot, it makes a difference. The included bulb is a bit too bright for the design of the lamp though (such a small shade with big openings close to the bulb), so it ends up being really harsh light. It worked better for me with a dimmer bulb, but it depends what you like and what kind of setting it's in. In case you want to go in the other direction and go brighter, the instructions say not to exceed 60w but the lamp itself says 150w as far as I can tell (see picture). This is a great little bedside light. It comes with the bulb which you can switch between cool white and warm white. The shade is a very pretty light beige/tan. I love the fact that it has a regular outlet plus usb/usb-c outlets in the base. This is especially convenient because my wall outlets are limited near my bed. I am able to plug in my phone plus two other devices if needed. I included a picture with a water bottle so you can see the size. Sleek design and very simple, which I like. Perfect for reading in bed and with the warm light on it adds a coziness to the room. Functions perfectly and the small size leaves plenty of room on the table. Whoops! I thought this was rechargeable. My bad! But it all works out! I had the perfect spot on my daughter’s desk. She appreciates the USB ports so she can charge her phone without having to put it down. Brightness 100% Ease of assembly 100% Functionality 100%. Overall good value and blends in with her decor.
