Almost as fast as just using a blender and adding ice, but doesn't water it down. + High quality. The Bad: - Seems a bit expensive. - Dangerous if you like frozen alcoholic beverages. Very dangerous. Be careful :) I had some trouble with a frozen milkshake seizing solid due to froth. But everything else has been great.

Second one that came DOA. Looks like a nice unit, I was hopeful. Two units coming DOA seems improbable. Guessing too fragile to ship. Box says fragile must remain upright, but always delivered laying on its side, though box in good shape.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is great! We just did a small batch of daiquiri to try the machine out and it worked exactly as described. This unit is very well made and the directions are crystal clear for whatever you're using it for. We are planning to use it a lot for milkshakes and soft serve ice cream and I can't wait to do that. It is very easy to clean unlike other units we have used in the past. Those units don't get used much because of that but this one is very simple to clean and very simple to use we are very pleased! This thing will get a lot of use at our cabin and I will certainly come back and update this review after we have had a chance to make some ice cream and shakes or if I have any issues. Update: okay we have had this thing for several days now and it is working great. We have made daiquiris soda slushies milkshakes and soft serve ice cream. You do have to turn the temperature down for ice cream and milkshakes to get the texture you prefer but after a little experimenting we have it down pat. I would highly recommend this machine for anyone looking. You're able to get very creative with this thing and I have certainly impressed my friends with the cocktails LOL

Very simple to use, makes a great margarita and keeps it cold and churning with almost zero noise and in very little time - around 15 -30 minute you have a good cold drink depending on the items being added. Can also make smoothies and frappe and other drinks, it does state there must be a minimum amount of sugar for the liquid to slush properly which is kind of a shame since I would love to make sugar free options. Super easy to clean the design is simple as you just lift out and rinse out. This will get a lot of use particularly during the summer months, so reasonable price when compared to other big name slushy machines.
