OK - I know this is just a toilet seat, but I felt compelled to share my enthusiasm about it. I recently installed a new Toto toilet and read online that the Toto soft close toilet seats are designed to shift a bit when you are sitting on them - and that would drive me nuts - as many others have stated. The models I found at the big box supply stores all had questionable reviews regarding both comfort and durability. So I turned to Amazon and stumbled across this seat that had overwhelmingly positive reviews - it was a bit pricey compared to other options, but most reviews stated it was well-worth the price. They were right. This seat is awesome - well designed, sturdy, comfortable, and attractive. And the mounting bracket system is a work of genius and enables easy positioning of the seat for a perfect fit. Also, it is easily removable for easy cleaning. Lastly, the installation instructions were simple and easy to follow - which isn't always the case these days. This seat gets two thumbs up from me - and I'm a picky fellow.

I couldn't be happier with my Bath Royale toilet seat. As someone who is 6'4", finding a toilet seat that provides good support and comfort can be a challenge, but this seat delivers. The seating surface feels noticeably more supportive and comfortable than standard seats, especially for taller individuals. Another thing I appreciate is how well it stays looking new. It resists staining much better than previous seats I've owned, which makes cleaning and maintenance much easier. The soft-close feature works flawlessly—no slamming, no noise, just a smooth and controlled close every time. The overall build quality feels solid and premium. If you're looking for a comfortable, durable toilet seat with excellent support and a reliable soft-close mechanism, I highly recommend Bath Royale.

Upgraded our guest bath toilet to a Toto Drake with elongated bowl. The standard (non-bidet) Toto seats get mediocre reviews so went hunting for options. This Bath Royale Exedcutive (BR501) checked all the boxes and had north of a thousand positive reviews. Gave it a shot and am very pleased. Fits the toilet well and looks good. Simple to install. Solidly designed mounting and hardware. Feels very stable in use and is comfortable (I am 6'3" and weigh 315lb). The slow close feature takes about 10 seconds but unlike many slow close seats, you can push it closed without damaging the mechanism. Makes no noise while closing. Easy to remove for cleaning - requires nothing more than putting the seat upright and pulling it straight up off the mounts. The seat is a slightly different shade of white than the toilet - just a touch more yellow - but you really have to stop and look at it to notice. If you look at my photos, you can see it is almost imperceptable. My only real gripe has nothing to do with the quality or function of the seat. The seller makes a point of promoting that they are a U.S. based small business. Along with product photos, the Amazon listing includes several nice pictures of an American flag sprinkled in plus heartwarming copy about family values. However, the toilet seat is clearly marked as made in china (see my photos). I go out of my way to both support small business and to buy American Made whenever possible. Granted the seller never actually claims the seat is made in the U.S.A. but they never exactly say it is not either. It strikes me as somewhat disengenuous to highlight being an American company when your product is made elsewhere. It is a five star item and represents a good value at the approximately $60 I paid in November 2024. Can't really comment about durability or service life since it has only been installed for a week. Will return and update this review if something goes sideways.

All toilet seats should be this easy. I uninstalled the old seat and installed this seat in two minutes. Not exaggerating. Not a professional. Fits perfectly and was fantastically easy to adjust. Seriously, I was ready for a fight that didn't happen. It is sturdy and stable, too! I've never been able to tighten a toilet seat this tight. There is no wiggle at all. I also love that it's easily detachable for cleaning. That's genius and thoughtful engineering. It looks very nice and it won't wear get weird like wooden seats. And it won't crack like wooden seats, either. It is really comfortable, too--the contour is great. It closes slowly and quietly as advertised. It's been a LONG time since I've taken the time to write an Amazon review, but this deserves it! ROYALE is a perfectly fitting name, too, the excellent quality is readily apparent from the second you open the box. It has been sold at much lower price points than when I bought it, but it's still worth every penny. Had I been fortunate enough to have needed it when it was on sale, it would have been a steal. I really could not be more pleased with this purchase.

Just installed this and I'm impressed. If it lasts long enough I'll add a star. First, the instructions are so clearly written. If you're a DIYer you know how rare that is. As noted in the instructions, this seat is designed differently than most others. And it is; for the better. It was easy to install, it seems to be unusually sturdy and it's extremely easy to remove for cleaning. I've had to buy more toilet seats than I care to remember so I appreciate the ease of installation combined with the quality of the product.

Strange post. After fighting inexpensive big box store toilet seats, I stepped up to these. Without a doubt, the most comfotable well-designed seat I have ever used. Makes time in the "library" more comfortable than a chore. Even contained gadgets for bidet installation, if you have one. Installation was easy and solid as a rock...no slipping around. Yes, it was pricey, but sure beats having to replace all the toilet seats every couple of years. Where the other seat's fasteners were nylon or plastic, these are stainless steel.

I have never been excited about a toilet seat - but then there's THIS toilet seat! It is a bit pricey compared to other options, but it is worth it. This seat is awesome - well designed, comfortable, and sturdy. As usual, I discarded the included instructions, visited youtube for a tutorial, and had it installed in a few minutes. If you are looking for a heavy duty, slow close, stable, and comfortable toilet seat, this is the one you are looking for.

I'm so happy with this seat! When we bought our house, it had those super cheap white-painted wood seats. No matter what, they kept staining and the stains wouldn't come out. Plus, we tend to be a bit clumsy and accidentally drop the seat when trying to close it. I looked for well reviewed seats and this one seemed to fit the bill. It seemed pricey at $71, but I figured it was worth a shot for a higher quality product. It's definitely worth the money! 1. The seat quality is so much better than a wooden seat. The lid opens smoothly, and the slow close feature is so nice for clumsy users. The material feels very durable, especially the hardware they included to install the seat. I'll get to the installation in a second, but our original wooden seat came with cheap plastic screws. This seat came with thick metal screws and better hardware. So materials wise, I'm super happy. We have an elongated toilet bowl and the seat fits perfectly. I did buy the biscuit color because our toilet is not regular white- it's a sort of off-white color. The color doesn't fully match, but our bathroom wall is painted in Sherwin Williams Alabaster, and with how the light bounces in the room, you can barely tell that it's not exactly the same. 2. Now this part will sound silly, but I've never installed a toilet seat before and I figured I'd have to google how to do it. Nope! Once it arrived and I saw the direction book, I was so darn happy. I've built tons of furniture over the years with minimal instructions, and there's always some level of of anxiety to double check that I'm not screwing it up. The installation book came with *full color* pictures, diagrams, and clearly written instructions *with correct grammar and spelling!* Call me silly, but holy crap it is so incredibly appreciated when a company will actually take the time to tell you how to use their product. I didn't have to google anything or look up a YouTube video to figure it out. I just read the simple directions, did it step for step, and boom, done. They even had hints and tips at certain points to make sure you don't do something to screw up (which again, I appreciate). I have 2 other bathrooms in our house and will be ordering seats for those as well. 10/10, would absolutely recommend.
