I’ve been really happy with this hair dryer overall! I love the size because it’s easy to handle and doesn’t feel bulky or heavy while using it. It dries my hair very quickly, which has saved me a lot of time getting ready, and the powerful airflow works really well. The attachments are also a great addition and make styling easier, depending on the look I’m going for. I’ve enjoyed having those options, and they fit securely and work nicely. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think it would be even better with a retractable cord for easier storage and less cord clutter. Great hair dryer! Background: I have fine, but a normal amount of hair, it's that wavy/curly that is so hard to deal with; the kind that goes flat with heavy products, static fluff-ball mess with not enough moisture, if you have this hair, you know what I mean! I've been using an over a hundred dollar hair dryer for a number of years, and I've just hated my hair lately. I bought this on a whim, and wow! The other dryer is going in the garbage! I forgot what volume looked like! This product is lightweight, my hair dried fast, it didn't burn my head, the volume it gives is fantastic! (I blow dry with a round brush, upside down). I hardly needed any product and my hair has no static, looks together and polished. That's blow drying it straight. Yesterday, I used the diffuser with it because I wanted to leave it wavy/curly, I flipped me head over and I actually laughed because it was so huge with volume I looked like I stepped out of an 80's hair band rock video lol I highly recommend this! Edit: Slopehill has excellent customer service! They reached out regarding the trouble I was having with the hair dryer and graciously replaced it. The replacement has zero issues, it is working flawlessly. I love a company that stands behind their products and cares about the consumer. Two thumbs up to Slopehill! I bought this Slopehill Professional Ionic Hair Dryer (Black) a few days ago and I'm returning it due to inconsistent heat. The dryer starts out nice and hot on the hot setting (which is the only heat setting I use), but after a minute or two it gradually cools down by itself without me touching any buttons. This makes it frustrating to use because I have to keep switching it off and on again to get the heat back. I rarely use the cool shot button, so this behavior is especially annoying for my normal routine. What I liked: The cord is nice and long. I like the overall size and shape — it's comfortable to hold. What I didn't like: The uneven heating issue described above. It's a little heavier than I expected. Overall, it has some nice features and looks premium, but the heat inconsistency is a dealbreaker for me. If the temperature stayed consistent, I probably would have kept it. ... show more

This is a great hair dryer! Works great with natural curls as well as straighten styles! I was so upset when my dryer suddenly stopped working after 4 mos. I contacted seller support to let them know my dryer stopped working and what had happened.
