Love this hairdryer that is light as a feather but powerful like nothing I have seen. My hairstylist had one similar, but it was $360. I found one I felt would be similar, and only 1/3 the price. I have always spent a minimum of $200 on professional dryers, but they can get heavy while I pull out the waves in my hair to get it straight. I was pleasantly surprised the power was the same as my stylist’s hairdryer, light to hold, and as powerful as my stylist’s hairdryer. My wife has bought two of these because she loves how they dry and are very lightweight. Fortunately, she purchased the insurance each time so she was able to get her money back. I wouldn't repurchase the same product after it tore up with only a few months of use. If you purchase this, get the insurance or be prepared to accept that you wasted your money to have a non-functioning hair dryer within a short period. ... show more

I had my previous blow dryer for around 10 years. It was time for something new. I ordered this one, and was pleasantly surprised the minute I pulled it out of the box how small and lightweight it was. The minute I plugged it in, I was amazed at how quiet it was. I have very fine hair and most of the time I use it on the lowest air pressure and heat settings. If I am in a hurry, I have turned it up to the second air pressure option, but if I turn the dryer in any direction but a downward slope, it tends to tangle my hair quite a bit. It was a little bit of a learning curve but I am satisfied overall with the purchase I made. The price and the quality has so far been well worth it. I've been doing hair for 10 years and my last dryer died on me with before the holidays so I ordered this one because it reviewed good and I have to say this is probably the best hairdryer I've ever had. It's so light weight which helps with how much I blow-dry hair and it's very quiet which helps me with clients that have sensory issues. The attachments are magnetic so I can slap one on quickly when I'm doing a blow out. It also dries hair fast. I have nothing bad to say about this dryer, I love it. I'm 83 and thought i would finally buy a lightweight powerful dryer--and got the Slopehill. I use it 2x a week. A month ago it started stopping off and on, but turning it back on, seemed to help--but alas, today, it's completely dead. I did everything to revive it and there it sits on my counter top-moribund. Guess I'll go back to buying the cheap and cheerful. You'd think that after all these years i would learn that I can't just go on the reviews online. Such a sad way to start the new year, but this Slopehill dryer was so beautiful and light-after a shoulder replacement, I loved it!! Bye! ... show more
