There’s an interesting background with this review. I have an interesting fur baby with a unique personality to match. For months and I mean months I had been threatening to buy a shock collar to get him to act right as he terrorized the community and stressed me out. He coincidently seemed to understand me because every time I would threaten to buy one he would get his act right. Well one day after him doing as he pleased and stressing me out I bought the collar. He seemed to know what it was when it arrived and just the boxes presence was enough to keep him in line for about 3 months. Well after one day of him being gone for 45 minutes I decided to open the box. I thought everything was there and how nicely the collar was already for the most part fit to his size and it even included an extra piece of collar however that would work I wasn’t sure for a larger neck. I didn’t care because he only weighs 7 pounds. What really irked me though was that there was no cable to charge it. After 3 months I knew I couldn’t return it to Amazon. So I contacted the manufacturer and explained my crazy story about my crazy dog and why it took me 3 months to figure out there was no charging cable. They provided excellent customer service and shipped me a whole new unit and everything. It wasn’t until I got the new unit that I realized what I received from Amazon was used. The collar was faded and dirty and fitted on another dog and the access collar was cut off and that would make sense why there was never a charging cable. It was a used return and Amazon sent it to me. Amazon needs to step up and do a better job. Slopehill did an amazing job. This unit is perfect for my little fur baby. You can lock the shock feature so you don’t accidentally press it as it should be a last resort and the vibration alone was enough to spook the crap out of him. Needless to say, I think he will get his act right from now on. Thanks slope hill for correcting Amazons sloppy negligence and hopefully alleviating my stress with this dog that thinks he rules the roost lol

This training collar has worked great, my cane corso has responded well to it, I’ve had it since December 2025. The collar fits his large neck as he continues to grow, reduces barking, the range is great for our large yard, long battery life (the remote lasts longer). My dog used to cry and bark if he could not see my husband, he almost immediately stopped doing that. He really only needs the vibrate and beeping option now but it provides high and low levels. It’s an affordable collar but the quality is great. I recommend contacting support if you have any issues!! After a year, the remote stopped turning on so I contacted customer service (the email that’s printed on the remote lanyard) and they were extremely helpful, sent me a new remote right way. I’ve had no issues since.

I have a 6-year-old dog that was pretty stubborn on the leash this collar turns her into a new obedient dog... We can now walk her off the leash My wife was upset about using the collar cuz once in a while the dog would cry, but that stopped so she got the hang of it.. and coming back when called Well the best way to put this is I would rather the dog cry, a couple of times than us crying when we got the vet bill or worse when she ran out in the street and got run over by a car. This collar will last a long time on a charge and works pretty far. Here’s a cleaner, more polished version of your review while keeping the same meaning and personal tone: We have a 6-year-old dog who used to be very stubborn on the leash, but this collar completely changed her behavior. She’s much more obedient now, and we can even walk her off-leash with confidence. My wife was hesitant about using the collar at first because our dog would occasionally cry out, but that stopped once she got used to it and understood the commands. Now she listens well and comes back when called. Honestly, I’d rather hear the dog cry a couple of times during training than end up crying ourselves over a huge vet bill — or worse, if she ran into the street and got hit by a car. The battery life is excellent, lasting a long time on a single charge, and the range works great even from far away.

These collars work great so far and customer service was very helpful! I had a problem with the collars (they needed to be repaired to the remote and it wasn’t working). I thought they were needing to be replaced. Hazel was super helpful in getting by back to me and troubleshooting my issue and they are back up and running!

I have been very happy with this collar. The collar itself has a buckle and so it easy to keep the same size every time as well removing or putting on. We have a mini labradoodle and she responds extremely well to the beep and vibration. We have only used the low shock less than 3 times. We have had this collar for 9 months and the battery has been great. I have used the light feature when she needs to be let out at night time so I can keep a better eye on her. I have been very pleased with this collar and would recommend it. We did run into one issue in which I reached out to customer service and they have been helpful.

Great while it lasts. I really like this collar, but Ive bought 2 in less then a year and it looses function. The remote for one quit charging and the second one lost the shock function and sometimes the vibrate works. I rarely ever use the shock function but living in the country, when I need it, I REALLY need it so its extremely frustrating when it fails.

I purchased the Slopehill dog training collar for my x-large dog that needs some subtle reminders regarding the training he has had. The collar has a great fit and is very durable and easily adjustable. Recharging is quick and easy, for the collar and remote. My only negative about the collar is it isn't consistent in delivering a shock on the low setting.
