It comes with 2 pillow inserts. You can use both or just one, I enjoy both for a big fluffy pillow. They are fluffy, but firm. They never go flat and keep their shape even after a full night sleep. I love these pillows. I can make them any size with the inserts. I have always used thick down pillows but these are a step above. There are 2 inserts to choose from and I use the large size. So much more comfortable than my down pillows. They put me right to sleep at night.

These pillows come vacuum sealed with instructions to put the them in the dryer and give them 24 hours to expand. Even after 24 hours a few rounds in the dryer these didn't really expand much. They claim to offer a medium firm support but they don't. They aren't very supportive at all.

It needs a medium insert pillow. The small pillow by itself in there offers no support, the large pillow by itself offers a minimal support, a pillow in between these sizes offers just enough support without making it a overstuffed marshmallow!!
