Heavier than corded version, but being cordless is worth the trade-off. Battery lasts quite a while, but under heavy load, you may need a spare. I might be the only one who has reviewed this and used it for taxidermy skulls. I clean, whiten, and preserve animal skulls for people as a side business and sometimes edges need to be softened, black pitting in the skull needs to be removed or even a little cutting near the back of the skull. The dremel has been great. It keeps a charge well, handles the little bit of pressure I put on it and has is pretty quiet too. It’s nice to not have a cable attached when moving in awkward positions or often switching positions. Had this a few months and used it quite a bit and pretty happy.

Works excellent i bought a cheap 10 dollar Dremel biggest mistake i ever did didn't cut through anything this was able to cut through steel with ease although i recommend wearing a face shield with PPE because sparks will fly like mad these are also compatable with bosch batteries unlike with other companies you are not restricted on what batteries you can use as long as it can fit in this unit. Its expensive but it will do the job save your money and get this.
