  • Great value for a prebuilt, and runs every game smoothly with ultra/1080p
Style: 12400F | 4060 Ti 8G
I wanted to switch to the PC from console but I don't know anything about building a PC and didn't really care to learn. I didn't want or need anything fancy, I just simply wanted a PC that can run any game I want to play smoothly at 1080p on Ultra settings, all hopefully without breaking the bank. This pc does exactly that, and I imagine it could probably push it to 1440p for most titles but I haven't tested that. The only games that have given me any framerate issues are Microsoft Flight Simulator and BeamNG, both notoriouly GPU intensive games, and I had to compromise with high graphics settings for those (which is still fine). Also worth noting that the RGB lights on this rig look amazing, and my setup looks like a piece of art, my roomates are jealous of how it looks eventhough they are all running RTX 4090s lol. Also this PC is so quiet, even when maxing it out flying over NYC in Microsoft flight simulator you barely notice that it's there, and it doesn't noicably produce any heat. The keyboard and mouse that come with the PC are also excellent quality and look great. Awesome prebuilt PC and more that what I was hoping for. ... show more

  • My 1st gaming pc… Worth the money!!!
Style: 12400F | 4060 Ti 8G
The media could not be loaded. Have had it almost a month so I figured it’s now time for a review. I have had no issues since owning it the pc hands great the keyboard feels amazing the mouse is lightweight my friend who has had a pc for years loves the lightweight mouse. It’s been great for running escape from tarkov to ready or not I don’t have many games maybe 6 at max and even the early release of Greyzone warfare runs great on this. It’s super simple when you get it the dashboard is set up nice and it came with a certificate of reliability with how many hours the pc was run before I got it. It don’t heat up bad for having 4 fans it deff stay cooled down if you have the right amount of air. For the value of the pc it’s deff worth the money imo it’s a great starting gaming pc. I’ve been on Xbox since the OG and this was a big step for me and i feel the company behind the pc made a great one for the price! ... show more

  • Less Than 1 Month Won't Power Up
Style: 12400F | 4060 Ti 8G
I have had the PC less than a month, ordered Oct 12, and it won't power up. The LED fans light up and spin for just a second and then quit and it never boots. I performed all of the troubleshooting steps advised on their website. They have no weekend support so I had to wait until Monday to call. I was on hold for 1hr and 40 mins. I was told that I was going to have to send the computer back for repairs and it would take several weeks after they received it for them to get it fixed. So they would have had it longer to fix it than I got to even use it. I just issued a return through Amazon and will purchase from another company with the refund and get that computer faster than they can repair this one and send it back. If you are considering purchasing a gaming PC I recommend not purchasing from Skytech Gaming. ... show more

  • Great PC - Broken Fan After 1 Month
Style: 12400F | 4060 Ti 8G
The PC when it first came was really good! We loved the setup, and definitely felt like it had its value. But unfortunately we had alot of technical difficulties with this PC, which is why my rating is low. After 1 day we noticed that the PC has a weird spark happening on the fans when you turn it on, but wasn’t that big of a deal, otherwise the PC was still fine. After a month, the middle fan (i think called CPU Cooler) also stopped working randomly as well. ... show more

  • Very Impressive
Style: 12400F | 4060 Ti 8G
Further Update: The 12400F/4060Ti configuration I reviewed In a 2023 model. Nothing I said in the review is untrue, but the current (March 2025) Amazon price is not just several hundred dollars more than I paid then, but it's far higher than comparable systems. Shop around! Update: The computer is excellent and my opinion is unchanged. But this was eight months ago and the system was deeply discounted when I bought it. A problem with pre-built systems sold through retailers is that older systems are sold as new (well, they are "new") but with parts that have been superseded by newer ones. The 12400F/4060ti I bought for less than 1k should, today, if sold at full list price, have a newer processor, more and faster RAM, possibly a 4070 rather than a 4060 Ti. There's no "freshness dating" on computer builds, but there should be. Caveat emptor! Summary: Very well-packed; arrived in perfect condition. Booted immediately; Windows setup was easy and smooth. All parts are name-brand (but not always top-tier); performance benchmarks are excellent. Documentation is sparse but findable online. Overall, very good value, very attractive, very well-assembled of parts that all work well together. Five stars. In More Detail: I was replacing a 2015/16 Dell (with an i7 6700 and a GTX 1650) that is old and getting glitchy. I wanted something that could run Flight Simulator at 1080p in full detail, and maybe some other newer games. But $1000 was my limit. After watching the market for a couple of months, Prime Day came along and this system popped up at my price point. Skytech was already on my radar as a reputable US integrator sold through many major retailers, as well as direct, and the system checked most of my boxes (I would have preferred a 13th gen CPU, DDR5 RAM, a 4070, and a bigger/newer SSD, but let’s get real; that’s just not a $1k PC). So I ordered this one, and after two days’ shipping delay (Amazon’s issue) it arrived on Sunday, in a big blank box with a retail Skytech box inside. Unpacking the computer involved plenty of foam protection, including inside the case where everything — GPU, CPU cooler, etc. — was kept from moving around by lots more custom foam packing. Bottom line: Everything was secure and pristine. I took the opportunity while I had the system on a table to check all the screws (all were tight), closely inspect and identify the components as best I could without disassembly, and familiarize myself with the layout and features of the case. There is no manual for it included, nor for any of the other individual components. In some cases, I had to later use software to ID the components, since some labels are difficult to see in the assembled system. The components in any given sample of the Archangel 4 may vary, as advertised. This is what I found out about mine, as best as I could determine: --Case, case fans, power supply (600W, not 650W as listed on Amazon), and CPU cooler all from Gamdias (look them up). --Motherboard: Asus PRIME B660M-A AC D4 --GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Eagle OC 8G --RAM: Teamgroup T-Force Vulcan Z DDR4 16GB --SSD: MSI M371 1TB. I also took the opportunity to move my 2TB hard drive and its SATA cable from the old Dell to the new box. That’s when I realized there was no drive cage in the compartment where the mounting points are. Since I plan to soon replace this old drive with a new 4TB M.2 (there is a second slot on the mobo), I chose to simply place the HDD on a piece of foam for now. All the necessary power connections for an array of extra drives and accessories are included. I moved the system into my office, connected all my peripherals (mouse, RGB keyboard, flight stick, USB speakers, two monitors, external CD drive, external hard drive), and my network via Ethernet, and powered up. System booted promptly into the Windows setup routine, which is self-guiding. Windows is already registered to the motherboard, so I just logged into my Microsoft account and everything proceeded correctly. There were lots of updates to do, for Windows, for the motherboard, and for the GPU (via the nVidia site). This is an area where my decades of experience with Windows served me well: a newbie could probably benefit from more guidance than Skytech provides. Everything works (didn’t test analog audio or wifi). I ran UserBench to quickly confirm that I was getting roughly the expected performance, and yes, the system was in the upper 30% of similar systems tested: a “UFO” (top rating) for gaming, as a desktop, and as a server. Oh, there’s lots of RGB lighting — five fans, plus the case itself. There’s an included utility, SignalRGB, that controls everything (including my Corsair keyboard), and it let me set up a simple muted blue scheme that turns red when the system is shutting down, and white backlighting for the keys. It can apparently also perform advanced lighting schemes and animation programs, but that’s not my thing. (I’m 72 years old, I should mention.) Aside from routine desktop use, I’ve had time only to play two games. One old one, my all time favorite, Rise of Nations, which of course is undemanding and even ran perfectly at 1080p on the old Dell. It’s just as good here, though it loads faster. The other of course was Flight Simulator, which I finally got to play after hours of downloading and installing almost 200GB of data from Steam. And yes, it’s everything I’d hoped for, smooth 60FPS+ at all times at the highest settings — so good that I’m already thinking this rig could support 1440 with little compromise. We’ll see. So my compliments to Skytech for choosing a suite of parts that work very well together, assembling them neatly and properly (cable management is top-notch) into an attractive system, and packing it extremely well. Bonus: After registering my new system online with Skytech, I received an email saying that a valid registration earns a second year’s warranty! Can’t beat that, and I don’t know why they don’t promote that excellent offer. ... show more
