    • Bricked motherboard not even a week.
For context, I built my previous gaming PC. After I decided to upgrade, I used pcpartpicker. At the time I was building my list, the price to parts ratio was pretty close. I made the jump to purchase this PC so I don't really have to worry about anything else. Boy was I wrong. Shipment was fine, when it got here, I made sure everything is seated correctly, etc. Got this on Friday the 16th. All is well, I was happy and satisfied. Thursday came Dec 22. PC suddenly will not turn on. I do have experience in fixing PCs so I tried to find out what went wrong. At first, I thought it was a power issue. I borrowed a PSU tester to see if the PSU is busted, that part is fine. Next, I thought it might be a motherboard but we didn't want to jump into conclusion. We took out all the parts CPU, GPU, RAM and put it on another board. It works fine. Now we put it back on the board that came with this PC. It runs for 10 secs, then shuts down. No fan spinning again so back to square 1. It's the motherboard. We tried to fix/upgrade the BIOS and same thing, runs for 10 secs then shuts down. Granted, my issue is pretty unfortunate and it is kind of rare tbh. I am now returning this PC before I sink money replacing something when it is still under warranty. It's not a good sign if I am already having an issue not even a week into receiving it. It spent more time waiting for it to ship than getting my hands on it. I have been in contact with Skytech themselves regarding this, and they were ready to offer replacement part so that's a good sign, but if you are not really tech savvy or not wanting to get your hands dirty just incase something goes wrong, it is another couple of weeks of no watching cat videos on youtube while you play minecraft with rtx on. ... show more

Got a "new" pc with the fans damaged and not working along with the GPU also being damaged and not working. I'd advise staying away from this PC company as a whole

Got this computer as my first prebuilt gaming PC. I unwrapped it and put it together to find my GPU was DOA - most consumers would get furious about this, but it is just a somewhat common issue that occurs. Fortunately, Skytech has great customer service and took care of me rather quickly and had a new GPU out to me in about 3-5 days after I sent mine in for review. Set up was a lot easier after the GPU issue was resolved. Since then I’ve played Fortnite, Halo, 2k, Madden and a slew of random other games all at 4k without any issue with lag, artifacting or GPU latency. I would recommend this computer to anyone worried that building one out themselves is too tedious or expensive and want the benefit of plug and play. Pros: - Very affordable. - Will run 99% of the games you want at 4k level. - Benchmarks all met or exceeded from a CPU/GPU standpoint. - Great customer service. Cons: - Sometimes you get a DOA part, fortunately customer service is great. DOA parts are more common than you think in the industry. - Not a lot of guidance on how to put it together, although it is very easy to understand where everything goes from a good YouTube video. - Going to have to upgrade SSD pretty soon, fortunately you have another PCIe slot to smack another high speed drive in there. ... show more

Right out of the box, you're lucky if you get one working. Amazon claims NEW, but tape on boxes clearly tampered with... typical of Amazon. First return, corrupted operating system. Second return, 4 of 5 fans not running. Shipped with components inside the PC not plugged in an inaccessible metal case in the lower portion of the PC that I don't have the tools or knowledge to open. ... show more

had to take glass off to remove packing material which is fine since protect3d the computer however spoted n temoved some scrap ziptie trash left inside case. also box it came it had manu visible punctures and damagr likely from transit however still not a good thing n shoupd be fixed between manufacturer and distributer appropreietly to avoid possible damage ... show more

i tried evething for about 3 hours and nothing the same problem, sometimes just a black screen ora just bad display Update: Im returning this garbage, they put a bad gpu inside.
