  • Beautiful and powerful system!
Style: 9900X | 5070
This PC was very safely packaged, ensuring that none of the parts were damaged during shipping and pretty much worked right out of the box! I love how beautiful this thing is, the lights are all configurable either via software or a press of the button on the front of the panel below the power button. During setup, if you are planning on using DisplayPort it might be worth temporarily connecting either via HDMI or connecting to the DisplayPort on the motherboard. The RTX 5000 series GPUs seems to have a bug that in their original firmware that causes the screen to be blank until the OS is fully loaded, so you don't get the BIOS screen or (very early) Windows setup screen which made me think that something was wrong initially. Nvidia has a firmware update tool that you can run and it fixes this issue (quite easy to apply, you download the tool, double click it, and it'll ask you to confirm then it does the rest and only takes a minute). Of course, after you do this, don't forget to plug back into the GPU if you were plugged into the motherboard! That's not a knock on Skytech since that will have been Nvidia's fault. Nonetheless, I let their team know so perhaps they'll start installing that onto their systems while doing their testing so that it doesn't need applying later. By default, the fans are definitely audible - if you have other things in your room making noise (or wear headphones) you won't be bothered by it, though you can also adjust the fan curves so that they only ramp up when you're playing a game or doing anything else that is intensive. So far, I haven't had any issues running the games that I've been playing at 1440p and high refresh rates (most of them reaching well above 100 FPS), this PC really handles them like a champ! The only thing that struggles a little bit is Star Citizen (you'll want to upgrade the RAM, as the game will very much eat up all 32GBs of RAM included on here by default) but that game is quite unoptimized as its still in an early alpha state (even then though, the framerates at 1440p are still quite high, just a bit "shaky" depending on what you're doing). Depending on the games you play, you may also want to pick up another NVMe to either add as a second drive or clone the default drive onto a higher capacity drive since games these days are *huge*. What really impressed me was Helldivers 2, that game was a struggle on my old PC but now I can run it at 1440p and maintain around 110FPS without any upscaling turned on and at the highest graphics settings. Helldivers is another game that isn't too well optimized so I was quite pleasantly surprised to see it be able to run so well. If you look around online, there's a lot of people who apparently do not like the 5070 Ti, as far as I can tell this is mostly due to PR factors that don't actually revolve around its performance and ability. This GPU seems perfectly capable to me. Don't pay those criticisms any mind. Additionally, it was nice to see that there wasn't any "bloat" installed by default - no weird antimalware programs that want to just take your money and run, no candy crush, nothing. The only third party application that was installed is SignalRGB and that is so you can change the lighting effects. SignalRGB does have some paid functionality for "advanced" lighting effects, but you can do quite a bit without extra purchases. I think the lighting uses standard protocols too, so you probably could install something like OpenRGB if you wanted to - though I haven't double checked this myself. All in all, I'm really happy with my purchase, and it truly does feel like this system is going to last me quite a while. Was initially skeptical of picking up a prebuilt system rather than building one up from scratch, but I'd happily purchase more systems from Skytech and will definitely be recommending them to any friends who don't want the hassle of building their own systems. To me, this system feels more like a system that was home built by a friend and then just shipped to me (and I can confidently say that, since that's exactly how my last PC came about). Oh, and it does come with a mouse and keyboard - I have some really specific preferences on how I like my keyboard and mouse so they weren't for me, but they still seem great if you don't already have a set or aren't really picky about them. I'll be keeping them around though just in case I need spares. ... show more

  • Fast, Quiet, Beautiful
Style: 3600 | 1650
PC is very snappy, runs everything I’ve tried to throw at it. You will have to turn some settings down but for that crisp frame rate you get it’s worth it. Nothing too bad, medium to high settings on everything. Minecraft with shaders: flawless 100+ FPS (survival worlds will have to use lower end shaders, flat worlds can use the best you can get) CS:GO: Obviously incredible Doom Eternal: everything on medium or low depending on how you want the game to run, I squeeze every bit of frame rate I can out of it and it runs flawlessly Planetside 2: turning graphics down to medium/high and get a very smooth 60+ at all times except for when a lot is happening on the screen at once, which has always affected almost every PC Overall this PC is incredible for what it is, if you don’t want to build this is definitely a great option for the price and you can always upgrade :) Would recommend upgrading the ram to 16GB off the rip as it does idle at around 30-40 and will jump up to 50-60 running games. If you wanted to multitask and not be efficient with your apps then definitely upgrade. Would recommend a million times over! ... show more

  • Good value, great support
Style: 3600 | 1650
I purchased the BlazeII to go iRacing on a single screen sim rig. The system worked great delivering a high quality image and 80-100 FPS. Then after 2 months of use in the middle of a race the system crashed. Screen went blank, sound stopped and steering went limp. Could not even get system to boot. Called tech support at Sky Tech and they returned my call within 2 hours. The tech walked me through several tests and then determined that I would have to send the system in for repair. They sent me a shipping label and I sent my computer to them. They repaired a bad memory chip and stress tested the computer in about a week, then they shipped it back to me in one day. So overall I am very happy with the performance of the computer and the value for the price. Couple this with awesome support and you get 5 stars. ... show more

  • looks and works great
Style: 14700F | 4070 Super
Looks phenomenal. The lighting in this prebuilt is beautiful, and the fans are quiet. Flawless first startup. Worked right out of the box with no issues. Excellent delivery as well. One star lost because the mouse came broken, and let me tell you, I don't know if it would have made a difference even if it had been in one piece—this mouse feels like the cheapest piece of rubbish I've ever had the displeasure of holding in my hands. Make sure you have a separate gaming mouse if you go for this prebuilt. The keyboard is pretty nice, though! ... show more

  • First modern pc works like a charm!
Style: 14700F | 4070 Super
I don’t exactly have an in depth critique, but after some time with this computer it has worked so well! Im running games better than i ever have! The price wasn’t too bad either, plus (in my opinion) the computer itself is pretty to look at! All in all, great gaming computer! 9/10 doctors agree lol

  • Great quality, would definitely recommend to gaming friends looking to transition to PC.
Style: 3600 | 1650
Runs absolutely amazing, even before I upgraded parts. I'm stunned over the quality of the parts and the excellent run rate. I've yet to have a problem running games like Detroit: Become Human, Overwatch, and Warzone at full graphics settings, even with the original GPU. Have had no problems with setup either. PC came with an extra mouse and keyboard, as well. I haven't used them for any type of gaming, because I have my own Apex Pro Keyboard and Logitech G305 mouse. But it seems the keyboard, along with the mouse is actually good quality as well. The fans have little to no noise, with it only making minimal with powering up. I thank the company for outputting a preset PC with such a wonderful run quality and spectacularly easy setup. Well done. ... show more
