I can sum this book up In the words of Jeremy "It's fashizzilly freakin fantabulous". Third book of the series and each one just gets better and better!! I laugh, I swoon, I 'm on the edge of my seat, it's awesome. The ending to this book was what I've secretly been hoping for since I started reading the series! As always, I adore Jeremy and love the phrases he spouts off! I'm making a mental list to use them in life. Zappadoodle, futher mucker marmalade madness, skank-ho hot mess in a gi-gah-munga can of nasty crack worms, and so on! I tend to make up phrases like this myself and only my husband and best friends can understand me so I relate so well to him! I bookmarked so many favorite spots in this book that I am not sure I left more than a few pages without bookmarks! I love all the pop culture references and nicknames for the main characters as well as the ones they use for some of the smaller characters. This series is a highly enjoyable YA fantasy. There are so many fantasy creatures involved in these books, each book introduces a new one and keeps things new and exciting. I am looking forward to Book 4. Now that I am all caught up, when it is released it goes to the top of my reading list no matter what! I must read more about Ruby, Jeremy, Anya, Nick and of course....Brennan. *swoon*.

We’re back to the fascinating and magical world of Ruby Blue. Her relationship with Nick is tested by the arrival of an unlikely suitor. New threats strike close to home. And Ruby grows into her powers. It’s incredible how the author unravels this engaging story. The stakes keep getting higher. The quick pace of the first half becomes a runaway train in the second half; I dare you not to finish it in one sitting. And how cool is that the cast of fantastic creatures keep expanding? The description of the magic rituals (and even the reasoning behind them!) is a great touch. After reading this, I totally believe magic exists. Somehow the author turned up the already high doses of suspense, fantasy, and humor in this one. And the romance! It is so sincere, intense, and heart-melting. Warning: this book may turn you into a hopeless romantic. I love the series. I can’t wait for the final book!

This entire series is a delight. The author's originality, in a genre literally flooded with books, is commendable. Her Fae mythos and world building are believable and congruent through all three books. The author's talent is also evident in the virtually perfect balance between character development, plot development, and paranormal elements. I have especially enjoyed the way the author continues to expand the paranormal elements, develop the characters, and deepen the plot as the story progresses from book to book. Also worth noting is these characters are neither immature nor overly mature for their age. They come across as real teens I could meet in my own neighborhood. There is no graphic violence and no gratuitous sexuality. There is romance and realistic attraction. Last but not least, I think it takes great skill as an author to bring each book of a series to a clear finish, as this author does, yet have one or two plot lines in place quietly waiting for their full story to be told. I appreciate knowing how this part of the story ends! No frustrating cliff-hanger endings here, just the pleasant anticipation of hearing the rest of the story. This series is one of the most satisfying and well-written reads I have in my library. I recommend you give it a go!

I love Ruby Blue and Deja Blue, but Sky Blue is my absolute favorite! The characters seem to have blossomed since book 1. Jeremy is more flamboyant and funny and Brennan seems to have matured (he almost catches up with Anya)! Ruby is as loveable as ever. Ruby starts out her senior year with a bang. There are trials and tribulations, and her heart is tested. Another daring adventure is in the works, and Ruby learns several new things about herself. I couldn't put this book down until I finished it. It was everything I could have asked for and more. Julie knows how to tell a story and build excitement; and the ending is just perfect! Kudos to Julie Cassar for Sky Blue!

These books are just so good! They're fast paced and I love the characters! Jeremy was his usual fantabulous self, and Ruby is nice and snarky. I loved Brennen and Anya. There wasn't much Anya, but she was fabulous. And Ka-trampy. What a great villain! I loved seeing all the use of magic in this one, and I like how the supernatural creatures are tied in. Can't wait for the next one!

Sky Blue by Julie Cassar Rating 5***** This series has become one of the best indie book series I have read. Once again we find Ruby and her group of friends destined for trouble. Only this time it comes in the shape of a short Katrampy female from fey. Ruby is just started in her senior year and things quickly start being far from normal. First there is terrible storms. Then Homecoming becomes a disaster. It doesn't take much to realize that the fey are up to mischief yet again. Mischief that may cost Ruby everything. There isn't any way not to fall in love with Ruby. Her humor and treasured Converse sneakers are just to dir for. Each page is an adventure that sucks the reader in from the very first page. I am so vested in each of these character. I can't sell you enough on each of these novels. This is by far my favorite of the series because I have a serious book crush on Brennan. Could any character be any more dreamy. Editing and plot is superb. This is a book you can't go wrong with. A definite top recommended read for the year.

Especially enjoyed this one. Ruby is back at school and it's her senior year, she has new powers, a hot boyfriend, and everything is just perfect, or is it? She now has to put up with Brennan the body guard following her around all day to protect her and it should really piss her off but for some reason it doesn't. Then a fairy princess shows up, yes a real fairy princess, and all the boys including her boyfriend, can't take their eyes off of her. Her senior year was supposed to be wonderful but now it's not looking so good for Ruby. This is another rollicking adventure for Ruby, Jeremy, and the gang with a few new twists. This one is my favorite in the series so far. As Julie's writing gets better and better Rubys adventures get better and better. Really looking forward to the next in the series especially after the twist (which I really loved) at the end of this one. Go Ruby!

I love this series. It makes me feel young again. Julie has created the best characters. I find myself reading and laughing to myself often. I also love the little Michigan facts and histories that are built in. I am thinking of buying the paperbacks so I can donate them to my local library and get more people in my town to read them. I live in a small town where some people will just not read a book unless they can hold it and flip the pages. :) The only thing negative I have to say is that I like it better when you have Ruby use teenage slang like "craptasic" instead of swear words. I just don't picture Ruby using those words after two books of her funny quirky made up words. Thank you Julie for these light and funny reads.
